ChatGPT's Billion Dollar Lesson in Essentialism
I think we just watched a multi-billion dollar lesson in essentialism. So yesterday, OpenAI just rolled out GPT-5.5, and I’ve been playing with it inside ChatGPT. My expectations were meh thinking everything would suck as usual with Open AI. But I have to say my expectations were completely blown away. Not "perfect". But the $20/month model is better for some things I've seen than Claude Opus (which is quite pricy and slow compared to GPT) However, this email ain't about flashy models and fomo. The real lesson here is how Open AI got here. Because for a while, ChatGPT was starting to feel like the losing model. Not because they were dumb... Because they were doing everything. They were focusing on SO many products from an AI Video social network and all these other internal incentives. I remember when Gemini launched their new AI model in November, Sam Altman realized they were going down the wrong path. So he said something like: "We're ONLY focusing on making our AI Models great, we're cutting everything else." And so he made a bold mode and murdered Sora, their video creation model that hit #1 on the appstore at one point. The disciplined pursuit of less really means killing products that could be making you buckets of money. So they scraped it. Essentialism is not “doing less” so you can feel calm. It’s ruthlessly deleting everything that makes the main thing weaker (even if it's making money). I had to relearn this the practical way this week myself. Me and my partner Jack are scaling a publishing offer. We’re around $60K in revenue this month, so far. However, we hit a snag. The offer was ripping up to 2K/day in sales earlier this month. Then? Dead. At first, we started brainstorming the usual things... Maybe change the headline.... Maybe reposition the page.... Maybe rebuild the whole front end with a different frame. Or just burn the whole damn thing down and come back with something smarter. Then I looked at the page and thought:
Do what you love, let Claude do the rest
Yesterday was a milestone day. After a bit of tinker I launched 36 new ads without logging into the ad manager. I stayed in my zone of genius reviewing, editing and making changes. And going forward I'll be asking my main man Claude what's working best, what needs adjusting and what the next moves are to scale. What I realized going down this rabbit hole and listing to some smart people: Traditional organization structures are dead. They were built for humans. The billionaires now are building a "hub" around an AI that they see will do the majority of work and decision making and the job the human is to simply supply the AI with inputs. To stop promtabating the best way is to pull out a whiteboard and map what you need to do step-by-step by step to get a result. That "result" is the end thing you want done. Even for client work this is essential as you will find that there are steps along the path to get the outcome. GTFO outside. Take walks, think, play. The trap I got myself into was sinking over my computer because I now have this powerful thing that has less and less limitations every week. You will mindlessly work if you don't hear the birds chirp and get outside. Essentialism. The path of only using AI and building something that will lead to more sales and better client results (these go hand in hand). Everything else is just fluff. I'm going to be sharing a lot of the workflows and ways I'm using Claude to scale our biz in The Semi Passive Income Sprint. But now that it's closed, we're working on getting our offers and ads scaled up for our publishing offer. Off to the forest for a few hours before our client call starts. Chat soon, Zac
Quick Thing to Make More Sales...
If you've got videos on your sales page, you want to make sure your thumbnail isn't the default. In GHL this looks ugly and doesn't look good. Plus most people don't even ever watch the videos. Instead, the play is to simply turn the thumbnail into a testimonial image. So even if they don't watch it they still "see" the testimonial. Try it and let me know how it goes.

Quick Thing to Make More Sales...
How To Scale to 100 Buyers/Day With Personalization
Taxes are DONE! 🎉 Was pretty darn easy in Canada as we've got a good accounting + book keeping team. Wanted to share a quick note on our plan to aggressively start scaling our offers in 2026. I always looked at Agora Financial as the true modality of scaling offers. They were the undefeated kings of this selling the same front end offer with different packaging over and over again. They had a simple rinse and repeat formula that worked over and over again: A) Take their main product (newsletter subscription) B) Put a rotating bonus in front of it C) The bonus becomes the offer that is "free" when you get the subscription. Back in the day most people didn't do this because it required team, tech and more to get this dialed in. Now I see this is not only possible but will be a necessity in the future if you want to consistently get buyers. Because the big shift in marketing in 2026 I guarantee will be personalization With AI we now have the ability to create sales pages and landing pages in minutes by going into Claude without having to touch a page builder. Furthermore we can now create dynamic offers that adjust based on what ad is click on. This is what I'm diving into more and more as we aggressively scale our offers to hit our targets. Because the old model of running to one sales page to scale is playing the game like it's 2020. As we unpack this I'll be sharing how to do this leveraging Claude Code inside The Semi Passive Income Sprint. So you don't have to log into a funnel builder and you can just tell Claude via Telegram "build this thing" or "make this change" an Claude will go do it. The future is here and it's deleting any resistance that tech brought us. If you want the details reply back with "Semi Passive" and I'll send them your way. Zac P.S We close down and start on Monday

"But Claude Code is Scary!" 😬
I was chatting with a previous client who shared a similar sentiment that a lot of people are probably feeling: "Claude Code is Scary! I'm using Claude Cowork to build this thing because CODE is for developers" And at first glance, it definitely seems that way. Especially if you do any research online and hear the words like "terminal" or "agents" But now the reality is FAR from the truth! Because with this ONE Claude Skill I discovered, you'll turn Claude into a smart software developer that can take your vision and build it out in real time. And when you pair it with my mega prompts I've created leveraging this skill it becomes push button easy to actually create anything you please. However, just like creating courses, creating the platform is just one part. You actually have to know how to sell it... And I'm already seeing people make massive mistakes online doing this the wrong way where they create a commoditized AI product that just looks 👎 Which is why The Anti Prompt Method is going to cover not only how to BUILD but exactly how to position your new fancy shamacy AI tools to maximize the number of clients rolling in. We go live tomorrow and the page shuts down when we start. The details to join are in Skool. Zac
