AI & HR - Recruiting
Hi everyone, I have a client and HR Firm, who is really frustrated with their candidates using AI in their interviews. Anyone have any suggestions how to combat, deal or navigate this? Part of me wants to tell them... we can't fight it, we don't need a bandaid solution (i.e. have them step back away from the computer so they can't type the questions into ChatGPT) or do we need a brand new way of thinking about this? We know recruitment is going to be disrupted (it already has been with AI interviewing agents. Thoughts? TIA

My view is that trying to “police” AI use in interviews is a short-term fix to a long-term shift. Candidates using AI are really signaling a new kind of adaptability, they’re leveraging tools to think faster, communicate better, and fill gaps in real time. That’s a skill in itself. Instead of fighting it, I’d encourage reframing how we assess talent. For example: Build interview questions that test judgment, values, and contextual reasoning rather than memorized answers. Use live scenario-based discussions or AI collaboration tasks to see how a candidate uses AI responsibly. Redefine what “preparedness” looks like AI-assisted doesn’t mean inauthentic; it means augmented. The future of hiring isn’t about banning AI, it’s about learning to recognize the difference between human insight and AI echo. Recruiters who lean into that nuance will have the edge.

Metaphysical based mindfulness - how it helps AI Burnout!
AI has accelerated productivity but also intensified stress. We have information overload, screen fatigue, decision paralysis, and emotional detachment. AI burnout is not just mental; it drains emotional, physical, and even spiritual reserves. This metaphysical practice of visual Pyramid Exercises offer a way to rebalance. By working with colors, shapes, and intention, they allow you to release overwhelm, recharge your energy, and return to clarity. This is your quick guide to integrating pyramids into your daily AI-driven life. Section One: Core Pyramid Practices for Burnout Relief 1. The Purple Pyramid – Clear Eye (Mind) Purpose: Clears mental fog and tech overload. - Visualization: Imagine a purple pyramid above your head, glowing softly. - Mantra: “Please clear my higher self of mental clutter.” - Exercise: 5 minutes before or after AI-intensive work (coding, prompt engineering, analytics). Reflection Prompt: What thought pattern is looping in my mind right now? 2. The Blue Pyramid – Speech (Communication) Purpose: Balances digital communication and expression. - Visualization: A blue pyramid floating at your throat. - Mantra: “I speak with clarity and calm.” - Exercise: Use before important presentations, AI strategy meetings, or feedback sessions. Reflection Prompt: Am I over-communicating or under-communicating due to stress? 3. The Green Pyramid – Heart (Compassion) Purpose: Restores human connection in digital-heavy work. - Visualization: A green pyramid at your chest, radiating light. - Mantra: “I reconnect with compassion for myself and others.” - Exercise: Place hand on heart during stressful AI discussions; breathe into the pyramid. Reflection Prompt: How can I bring more empathy into my AI-driven work today? 4. The Orange Pyramid – Solar Plexus (Intuition & Confidence) Purpose: Counters decision fatigue from algorithmic reliance. - Visualization: An orange pyramid in your stomach area. - Mantra: “I trust my intuition alongside technology.” - Exercise: Before making a key decision, close your eyes and feel into the orange pyramid.

The teaching it based on a shape colour focus and pyramids seem to have to most profound effects its a teaching I have worked and done studies on for over 20 years. Most of my research has been done around personal development, parenting and soul mates. I was thinking of testing it around AI. Me and Amanda have been testing it for the past few months and its been working a treat.
