This was a though weekend…
Excuse the misspelling if any, I’m typing this as I remember it 🤣 This was probably my most stressful weekend ever since I opened my shop. I had 6 complaints in 1 day from different customers. This has not happened not even during the Christmas period. I will explain each of them as maybe they will give you some insight and help out through situation you will be put in by customers. One customer from France left a three star review because she claimed that the A3 poster I sent was slightly too big for her frame. I rode this rodeo before with another customer from France and I already knew what happened before even contacting the customer back. What she did, she bought a 30x40 frame and ordered A3 poster. That will never work as A3 is 2 cm longer than 30x40 frame. This happens as IKEA is advertising the 30x40 frames as ~A3 which is misleading. She eventually changed the review to 4 star, however she didn’t admit her mistake 🤷🏻‍♂️ Second one claimed that item is not as advertised although the poster looks exactly like advertised. She was expecting the colours to look a certain way when she clearly saw in the listing that they don’t but she ordered it anyway. I refused the return and advised her to open a case with Etsy for a refund. She tried to argue but haven’t heard from her after. Third one from Germany, was expecting to receive fine art as he complained that they are pixelated, although from the photos he sent they looked fine as large prints. Yes the pixels look more stretched compared to a small print, but on a large print they would look a bit bigger which is normal. He asked for replacement or refund. I ended up refunding as a replacement would look the same to him anyway. Lost £150 on this one but oh well. I printed on even bigger prints with no issues so I acknowledged the customer having different expectations. Forth one claimed that it was not what he expected. I asked what was he expecting and how can I help in this situation? He just responded “It’s just not what I expected” bruh 💀. I suspect either wrong size ordered or buyer’s remorse. I advised to open a case with Etsy for refund as I cannot accept this.

Jesus Christ bro, I suspect some of these want to keep the goods and the money. Like people do on Xmas with Amazon Nice handling them.
Copyright
Does anyone know what is the best way to find out if images, quotes or words are copyright or trademarks? I don't want to risk using certain words or using images which might infringe someone's work or be trademarked.

I've been in a rabbit home for the past week. The best place I have found is the Global Brand Database. Besides text you can search by also uploading a picture https://branddb.wipo.int/en/similarname?sort=score%20desc&start=0&rows=30&asStructure=%7B%22boolean%22:%22AND%22,%22bricks%22:%5B%5D%7D&_=1749755735769

@Mihai Volintiriu you're welcome mateyy
ratios ratios ratios
Hey all 👋, After finally finding a branding that is not infringing on anyone else's trademarks I started looking to what to use and besides Midjourney I am now looking into Stable Diffusion. My problem after looking into their API's is that they only accept Tom's recommended ratio is 70:99 ≈ 0.707 which is A4 and would be perfect for prints.... but I am only limited to the following ratios - 1:9 ≈ 2.33 - 16:9 ≈ 1.78 - 3:2 ≈ 1.5 - 5:4 = 1.25 - 1:1 = 1.0 - 4:5 = 0.8 - 2:3 ≈ 0.667 - 9:16 = 0.5625 - 9:21 ≈ 0.4286 Was thinking 2:3 or 4:5 . Thoughts?

Etsy Store Could Be Banned!
Hello everyone! I am freaking out while typing this so please excuse me but today I recieved this email from Etsy. "As of June 2, it looks like you’re still not meeting our case rate standard, so your shop has been put on pause via Holiday Mode, and your account will be permanently suspended in 30 days, on July 2. What Holiday Mode means for your shop - You can’t receive new orders, and your listings won’t appear in search results on Etsy anymore. - You can still message buyers if you want to dispatch or cancel any pending orders. Make sure to pay your bills and get records of your shop’s activity. We recommend tying up any loose ends as soon as possible since we may have to refund buyers who have issues with their orders. What happens once your account is suspended - You won’t be able to sell on Etsy anymore using this account, or any other account you create. - You may see a delay in getting paid for up to 180 days, in line with our Payments Policy. This helps us make sure that we can refund buyers if we need to. After this delay, you’ll be able to get paid on the next day in your deposit schedule, unless there’s a payment reserve on your account." I firstly want to make it clear in the last 90 days I have had around 4 Etsy cases which were all for Shipping problems to places like Israel and Hong Kong. However this is only 4 cases from 1200 orders. I'm also extremely confused because all of the cases have been resolved and I currently have no open cases. It seems like the only way I can get it back now is by making an appeal. Does anyone have any advice or help they could give me? It would be greatly appreciated.

Please Read! PrintShrimp Roadmap and About Us 🫶
Hey guys, I just wanted to give you a quick update on future plans and what is coming soon with us! We have been working very hard behind the scenes to keep improving PrintShrimp, and bring you guys as much value as we possibly can. Unfortunately the nature of our business means that we are often waiting on third parties for us to be able to release new things 😅 But we are constantly working behind the scenes on further improvements and releases 🫡 So, here is our rough roadmap. We want to involve you guys as much as possible with what is going on! Quickly, for those of you newer here, PrintShrimp was founded just under a year ago. But really, we’ve only been officially ‘active’ since January - as that is when our order portal first went live! PrintShrimp is just a team of two, me and my co-founder Max! It’s been a long road and so much hard work to get here, but we are loving the journey and that is why we want you involved and actively a part of it alongside us. Before January, poster orders were placed via email, and it involved me being chained to my laptop, manually sending orders! (This has probably given some people in this Skool PTSD if they were there during these days hahaha) So in just under a year, two people have basically managed to beat the poster offerings of Gelato, Printify and other POD suppliers in the space. And we are only just getting started! Every poster order from you guys really means a lot to us and we are loving this journey every single day 😇 Without further ado, here is what we are working on: USA Price Slash - When we say our ethos is fairly priced Print on Demand, we mean it! After a couple months of negotiating, we have started working with a supplier who is able to give us much more competitive pricing. We will be passing these savings straight onto you guys! All of our US prices will be dropping by around £1-2, allowing you guys to further boost your profit margin. When? Hopefully early next week! We are just awaiting very final confirmation on their end.
