One album/one sample library?
I know that this is often useful and good for creativity, but I'm curious if you've ever composed an album using just one sample library (or a few of them)? I know that the most important thing is to decide on the genre we're going to compose (and maybe the potential label we want to compose for) and I also know that we often all make templates for different genres, but as I said, I'm curious if you sometimes decide to compose a genre album from the perspective of just one sample library?

What i like to do is whenever I buy a new library I make an entire track with just that library, which is always fun! But an entire album would be too restricting for me as well
The Video Game Music Loop Challenge
Hey everyone, if you are interested to find work in the video game industry, the music writing process is a bit of a different one compared to all the other industries. One of the most important skills is to create music that loops perfectly. ... and here we go with our next challenge. The Video Game Loop Challenge! 🎮 1. Find the picture attached to this post 2. Write a 60-90 sec loop that is fitting the scenery 3. Only focus on the music itself, no sound design, no additional voiceovers etc. 4. The file should be attached to a comment on THIS thread. I would need to be able to download to check it in a DAW or an audio player. Requirement: The audio loop has to loop seemlessly when playing back and perfectly fit the scenery. There should be no glitch, no pause, no hicup or any other sort of distracting stuff going on at the transition point. The winner will be drawn at the end of January 2025. Prize will be lifetime access to my video games course and one month free access to the Audio Artist Rise Program. Have fun!

@Bruno Sant Anna Camara thanks man! Yeah I decided to give it a try since a friend of mine got some placements through taxi. You think it's scam? I'm not sure at this point, I got a couple tracks forwarded and if I don't hear anything from a library I will cancel the subscription. It definitely helps building a solid Base of tracks

@Giuseppe Corcella Yeah i know what you mean. I don't like this model too, bute i thought as a new composer without any contacts or placements yet it's maybe the best way to get my foot in the door. As i said, i will send some tracks and if i don't hear anything from a library i will cancel my subscription
Realistic Panning Plugin
Hey there! I got an advice to use realistic panning plugins like Vienna MIR to make the sound more real. Is anyone of you using it, is it worth the money? Are those kind of plugins really necessary for a realistic sound? And does anyone use an alternative, beacuse 750 Bucks for a panning plugin are atm too much to spend for me.

@Fish Oscine so i decided to give it a try and bought the MIR PRO 3d (24) in Sale. It's a limited version with a maximum instruments of 24, which is perfectly fine for me! For my purposes it's exactly what i wanted. You can visually pan your orchestral instruments to your liking and depending on which room you use in the plugin get an awesome reverb too. Sometimes it's a bit overkill, but i'm still experimenting with it. I end up using it in every orchestral track i create, for a more realistic sound. You can really push something more to the back or in front, depending on your needs. Of course you can do this with other plugins too, but i really like it! What's a bit of a downer for me are the room packages. I got one for free, which includes two stages but if you want more rooms like churches or opera houses you have to buy them extra and they're not cheap... You can listen to a track in which i mixed the MIR PRO with the orchestral instruments (except the drums because this doesn't sound well in my opinion - too much reverb) here if you like: https://www.taxi.com/members/CQr67DqaRha-TNynYsHsCA-mcptigerbeats/songs/6ocxcw_nQ4S3l_zYA1Qm9g-angels-ascending
