PPS 2026 concerning pubmed study
Anyone on or thinking about PPS please look at this. I’m certainly glad i went with my gut instincts and avoided this medication for my knee osteoarthritis. Wow! pretty scary indeed! https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/41379439/

Very interesting. Dr Yurth just spoke highly of it on Yourube and has taken it for 3 years herself with no vision issue and used it with many patients long term with no vision issues. It is in Phase 4 trials in Australia. Touted as a cure for arthritis. But vision is not a risk worth messing with .
NAD Supplementation
In the latest DDT Method podcast with @Anthony Castore , Anthony discussed NAD supplementation. What I found interesting is that Anthony seemed to be against NAD supplementation via NAD+ and its precursors if I understood correctly, and a more appropriate approach would be to instead use a combination of 5 amino and 1MNA. He suggested using 5 amino pre workout and 1MNA on rest days in the evening. Anthony - would you be able to expand on your thoughts regarding NAD supplementation given it seems like a given in the longevity community that you supplement with NAD+ (injection or IV) or its precursors (NMN, NR).

@Anthony Castore Any chance you can expound on the effects of JBSNF000088?
JBSNF-000088
@Anthony Castore Any thought or feedback on this small molecule? Supposedly an NMNT inhibitor. A synthetic metabolite of Vitamin B3 supposedly. Not much if any literature out there but word of mouth claims of benefits are significant

Exogenous Ketones
@Anthony Castore In researching available exogenous options, I have come across one called Original Ketones by americanketone.com. It was mentioned by Dr. Ben Bikman on a podcast. Each bottle contains 80 grams of bioidentical BHB just like Kenetik Pro, except it costs quite a bit less per bottle. Do you have any thoughts pn this product by americanketone.com?

@Katharina Clig Thank you. I should have done this search first. I am new to this skool group but not new to skool and know the drill. I have found some great detailed discussions and appreciate the tip.

@Mike T Nelson I am definitely a newbie in learning about ketones. So not the best source to respond. I do follow podcasts by Dr. Ben Bikman who focuses on insulin sensitivity studies and he mentioned this brand as one he uses and that he thought was good. From reading the information suggesged by @Katharina Clig and the posts @Anthony Castore previously made here it looks like the American Ketone product gives you the instant boost but because it does not have the 1.3 Butanediol it does not have as good a prolonged effect. That is what I gather but I am sure I am oversimplifying.
Kenetic regular vs Kenetic Pro
Is there any difference between kenetic vs kenetic pro besides the amount of ketones? Are the tastes of the different flavors the same? When I calculate the per mg dose, the regular kenetic comes out to be a lot less expensive even when I use the discounted price that Anthony Castore offers through his buyers club. At higher doses, the Pro is more convenient, but not at a cost perspective.

@Anthony Castore Sorry for the basic question but is the Ke4 the monoester or is the Kenetik Pro the monoester?

@Anthony Castore Ke4 seems less pricey too
