R.I.P Biggie & Support for Ayla
Hello Nidra Fam, I’m reaching out on behalf of our dear Ayla to share some heartbreaking news. Her beloved companion, Biggie Boi, eclipsed into the spirit realm this morning, with Ayla lovingly by his side after an unpredictable and emotional week of vet visits. 💔 As many of you know, Biggie wasn’t just a pet — he was a source of deep comfort and unconditional love during some of the biggest transitions in Ayla’s life. From moving cities to building her business and community, he was there for it all. He had the sweetest, quirkiest personality — kind of like a grumpy old man who secretly just wanted to share his treats with his friends. Rest easy, little gargoyle. Thank you for taking such good care of our girl.🙏 For those of us who have had the privilege of loving an animal, we know the profound impact they have on our hearts, our nervous systems, and our sense of home. Their loss can leave an indescribable void, and grief has a way of unearthing emotions we didn’t even realize were waiting to be felt. More than anything, I want to make sure Ayla feels surrounded by love and support at this time. Please feel free to leave a message of comfort here for her. If she’s a little slower to respond to your messages in the coming days, I know she will appreciate your understanding. Anything urgent can be directed to me. @Ayla Nova, we love you and are holding you close. Biggie Boi was so lucky to have you, just as you were to have him. May his spirit continue to watch over you and bring you comfort in the days ahead. ✨

@Ayla Nova I really do understand. My little Indi passed 16 December 2024. Not a day goes by that I don’t think of her.

I am reaching out to share that my cat Biggie Boi has fallen ill. He has been in and out of the vet all week. Biggie has been my companion through some profound transitions in my life, and the thought of losing him weighs on me heavily. If you have space in your prayers, please hold my sweet Biggie Boi, in your thoughts for strength and peace during this time. I am forever grateful.

@Rawl O'Neal you certainly can. Check out the Shakti Shala Acupressure Mat App. I have had a Shakti mat for a few years. Found it impossible to lay on it - certainly not long enough to reap any benefit. Since the accompanying app “Shakti Shala” I now use it every day. Shakti' is a Sanskrit word meaning 'creative power'; 'Shala' means 'a sacred space'. True to its name, Shakti Shala Yoga provides a calm space to inspire creativity and develop grace in your yoga practice and life in general. Now that I am able to lay on the mat without issue, I want to include Nova Nidra in that process.

@Sarah White here is a screenshot of the Shakti Shala app. It’s available on Apple. I’m sure Android as well. Let me know what you think.
💫Weekly Welcome & Finding Connection🌠
Hello, everyone! I want to begin this week’s welcome with a very genuine curiosity of mine: Yoga Nidra has become a profound part of my spiritual practice — helping me connect to my spiritual body and to Source, God, a Higher Power or whatever name you want to use for something so boundless. It got me thinking — do all of us experience Yoga Nidra this way? Do you use it as both a spiritual practice and a tool for self-regulation and mental clarity? If so, I would love to hear more. I know that sharing about our spiritual paths can be vulnerable, and I deeply respect that. But I also trust that we are all here with open hearts, curiosity, and loving awareness. I'm excited to learn more about each of your unique “spiritual histories" -- if you are comfortable sharing. And with that let’s also give a warm welcome to our FOURTEEN new members this week. We’re so glad you’re here -- we hope you enjoy the meaningful discussions here as we explore the practice of Yoga Nidra together! 💛🌠 • @Dawn Bone • @Travis Williams • @Jennifer Batts • @Mark Buckley • @Robert Nebergall • @Deleted • @Lisa Barker • @Iris Sirianni • @Marianne Miller • @J J • @Sarah Fox • @Marty Twomey • @Sonja Roglic • @Andreas Danielson • @Sandra maria Jellinek • @Deleted •

For me voice is everything. I have listened to many meditations over the years. It was not until I came across Ayla that I wanted to hear more. I believe it is a question of vibration and It needs to resonate. So voice and message. The only other meditation that does both these things is Shakti Shala.

@Mark Young that is good. There is something about her voice that resonates with me as well.
