Do content creators need to protect their identity?
I'm very new to this world. I plan to start recording and posting videos, likely on YouTube, in the near future. I typically use my real name online, and I would do so on my YouTube videos since I'm making them for my business, Land My First LLC. My name is unique and it's very easy to find me online, which means it's very easy to find me in real life. Should I be concerned about this? If so, what precautions should I take?

AMBITION V EASE - can you have both?
Had a coaching call with a client yesterday that has really got me thinking about AMBITION V EASE in your business. Can you have both? What does that look like? What happens when you want big things but you're not sure you want the life that goes with that.... Would love to know your thoughts.

@Mariah Coz @Suzanne Chadwick So true. I'm in business since 20 years and over the years I simplified my business more and more. I shifted from the "old" idea of ambition to a new, more sustainable version of ambition. It all comes down to your priorities in that phase of life, I think. Life is short, do it your way and not the way others think you should do it.

@Mariah Coz Yes ease comes with time. Like everything in business, it takes (a lot) of work upfront, but when you are strategic and willing to shift perspective once in a while you can find ease and serve your clients best.
Podcast or YouTube Channel?
I want to switch up my marketing channels a bit, but I get stuck at the decision if I should start a podcast or if I should focus more on video content on YouTube. Do some of you have experience, which channel can collect high quality leads / build trust better? I would love to get some new perspective on this topic. Maybe I just overcomplicate things in my mind. I have the skills to do both, but just don't know what would be better.

@Kori Tomelden Thanks for your insight. I guess I will try different variations of workflows and repurposing, so I can find out which way would be more efficient for me.

@Mallory Whitfield @Ruby M good points. I thought of the SEO-side too. Louise Henry once said that at some point you can get monetized on YouTube as well and basically get paid to do your marketing. And you can connect in the comments as well. Getting monetized is not my goal. I want audience growth and strengthen my relationship to my audience. I guess I will test a few things the next few months. Thank you so much for your valuable insights.

@Mariah Coz I like Slack more as well. My clients often use Slack anyway. To get them on Voxer was always a problem. And I also like the points you shared about Slack too. The better organization alone is golden. Speeds up processes so much.

I always follow four rules / principles. 1. There is no such thing as failing - you learn each time when something doesn't go to plan. You can then adjust your next moves. 2. Data over drama. If you are scared of your next move, look if you have a solid strategy that is based on data / facts and if not, ask yourself does it really make sense to be scared or do you just need more data to make a decision. 3. Don't just focus on growth all the time. Make sure to stabilize your business in between growth spikes. Otherwise, your systems get messed up quite fast and that will cost you time and money long term. 4. It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be helpful for your client.
