Creativity
#Creativity comes from what you consume I agree in part that creativity comes from what you consume. The other part...(in my opinion)... is how you use the idea, how you play with it, how you mix it. For example...The Lion King Movie is based on Shakespeare's Hamlet. IT's an animal kingdom with an Uncle who murders his brother the rightful king. The rightful kings son then seeks vengeance. Add in some music, slightly different sub plots, and you get the wonderful creation of the Lion King Movie. So, the more you consume, and mix, or adjust ideas, the more creative you can be. Adding on to this, you can take ideas from two different sources and apply them to each other to test if they work with each other. I know an online writer who mixes his knowledge of accounting, with gaming. I never knew anything about accounting till I read his article.

Question about 15 books chapter!!!
#15 Books Everyone Should Read Before They Die I have a question for everyone. Reading books is not a problem. Being an english lit student I did lots of reading in university. My bigger question is "How do I apply ALL the knowledge" I have a page in my note book where I have written thoughts/ideas/notes and things to apply to my life. It has turned into a lot. So much so that I can't apply all the ideas. I will forget or lose track of these ideas through out the day. So, how do you keep on cue with your ideas that you want to be habitual thoughts?

The Book of Five Rings - Musashi Miyamoto
My coach recommended me this book... anyone read it? It will not be a fast read, but I plan to do it. 😀 The book was written in 1643 by the famous samurai Miyamoto Musashi. It was intended as a book for martial artists. My coach recommended it to me to help me boost my decision making skills. To give you a taste - 9 principles from the book: The Nine Main Principles 1. Do not think dishonestly. 2. The Way is in training. 3. Become acquainted with every art. 4. Know the Ways of all professions 5. Distinguish between gain and loss in worldly matters. 6. Develop an intuitive judgement and understanding for everything. 7. Perceive those things which cannot be seen. 8. Pay attention even to trifles. 9. Do nothing which is of no use.

I've read it. As @Corey Bennett Boardman said, it is a quick read. As a I recall it was looked at the same way as Sun-Tzu's Art of War for business people. It's not a manual meant to be read quickly, it's meant to be studied and pondered. Sections of the book are useful in a broad sense, but there are section that I can't imagine being useful in business. For example, he described some techniques that need to be practiced, he would then say "This needs to be practiced.
Matt Parrs's program
Does anyone know about, or has anyone tried, Matt Parr's youtubing program? What do you think about it? Does it offer useful skills that can be added to existing ones?
