Stress compresses perception. A regulated body expands your options. Action: Before any meaningful decision today, take a 60-second downshift:Drop shoulders. Loosen the jaw. Slow your exhale. Why it matters: A calmer body improves judgment and reduces impulsive choices. Reflection: “What improved when I regulated before deciding?”

I tried to use all of my tools to remain calm with a family member that is one of my main triggers in life for negative behavior. I lost my cool and yelled at the person. I felt guilty and ashamed after for loosing my cool. However, I was able to recover my cool faster than I could on the past to reset and continue to deal with the situation. I need to upgrade my filter set for sure to prevent more blow ups!
