2nd Loaf from Dough Licious
I’m still amazed that I finally made my own sourdough starter, and tonight I baked the second loaf from Dough Licious. Between the blisters, the belly and ear are sweet, but look at that crumb!

Anyone make Sourdough white bread with AP flour?
I baked sourdough white bread today .Using the organic All purpose flour (Bob) 72 % Hydration. When I did 4 set stretch & fold ( 30 minutes apart) the doughs pretty sticky, so I decided to do 2 more sets of coil Fold. Does anyone bake the sourdough with AP flour? I wonder which flour give you a better result between Bread flour and AP flour.
Anyone make Sourdough white bread with AP flour?

Hamburger Buns!
I am excited with my first attempt at these. Since my house is cool, it took longer to rise and a bit longer to cook (need to apply the latest course “Cool House”). They cracked on tops but that is okay. Edited: those cracks are either pickle holders or cheese cracks. Take your pick!!

Shirley, I did these hamburger buns last night for my dad. I’m no expert by no means but these were sourdough. One thing that I do with all my bakes is I keep two small ramekins in the oven when I’m preheating the oven I fill them with ice cubes to create some steam. This seems to help for me again I’m no expert. I’ve only been at this for three years and because of this site, I’m learning more and more every day. This is just a little tip I use,. Your rolls are beautiful, and keep rolling because you’re doing great. That’s the beauty of the group we share and learn our ups and downs. And you are certainly making beautiful rolls.
