Why is everyone hiding? 🤔
You know how there's certain marketing advice we've all heard a million times? "The riches are in the niches," "specialize to stand out," all that stuff... 🤨 But here's what's wild: as buyers, we totally get it. We live it every day. We value specialists. We seek them out. We're willing to pay more for them. Yet as sellers? We're terrified to actually do it. ----- Let me show you what I mean... I've been dealing with wrist injuries for a couple of years now, and I'm begging someone (ANYONE) to take my money and help me fix this problem. ➡️ But here's the weird part... nobody wants to help me. Well, that's not exactly true. There are tons of people who COULD help me, but they're all hiding behind these generic "fitness coach" and "wellness expert" labels. ----- 👀 I'm scrolling through Instagram and Google (yes, like it is 2015 again lol), and it's like everyone's playing the same game: "I help with EVERYTHING!" Body transformation, nutrition, meditation, life coaching, spiritual awakening, meal prep, home workouts, gym routines... Meanwhile, I'm sitting here like "Dude, I just need someone to fix my wrists." 😤 ----- 🤯 And you know what's crazy? I'd pay them. Gladly. Because this pain is real and I'm desperate for a solution. But they're all too scared to say "I'm the wrist guy." ----- Here's what hit me while I was searching for the 100th "complete wellness transformation expert"... 🙂‍↔️ These coaches think they're being smart by casting a wide net. But they're actually making themselves invisible to the people who need them most. Think about it: I'd hire a general fitness coach for my overall goals, AND I'd separately pay a wrist specialist. That's two clients 2️⃣ instead of one, but everyone's too busy trying to be everything to everyone. 🥲 I'm guilty of this too: it is a scarcity mindset - afraid to lose the opportunity to serve everyone, so they serve no one. ----- 💪🏼 The person brave enough to say "I'm THE wrist strength and rehabilitation expert" would have my attention instantly.

@Paula Soito Absolutely! I think once we realize we’re not alone in it, it gets a little easier to start making those braver moves
Start ugly, improve daily...
I read that line a few days ago on Threads from Dan Martell, and it really stuck with me. I’ve been postponing creating short-form content, even though it’s something I’ve always wanted to get good at. Today, I’m finally posting my first Reel where I show up on camera (floating head style) on IG... I put effort into it... tried to get good lighting, scripted it, worked on the hook, edited it, added captions. The whole thing. And the result? UGLY. 😂 I was so disappointed. It’s wild to look at it and think, “Wow… this actually had effort put into it” 😅 But I did it. Now it’s time to improve daily 💪🏼

@Bel Tatum So glad it resonated with you 🙌🏼 That idea really shifted things for me too! I’m totally guilty of the same… wanting everything lined up before taking the leap 😅 But choosing to just start (today, not Monday or 'soon') was a big turning point. If there’s anything I can help with, don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re all in this together!
Highest Paying Buyers From Podcast
@Russell Brunson often says that his highest-paying clients and inner circle students are podcast listeners. Why? Because podcasting is one of the most powerful ways to attract your ideal customers and build a loyal audience who trusts you. And yet, so many people still aren't taking advantage of this platform. Some start a podcast, record just a few episodes, and then stop. If that’s you, what made you give up? What got in the way? Others want to start but never do. If that’s you, what’s holding you back? Drop a comment and share your thoughts. I’d love to hear from you and share all my insights with you. Let’s get you moving forward.

@Adam Laurie Yes, the plan is to do that next... planning a full podcast that is ready to cut good short form content is something I need to work on. Thanks!
The $50M mistake most coaches are still making
I learned something recently that really made me stop and reflect on how most people (especially coaches) approach their marketing message… It was the story of how Blockbuster turned down Netflix. Back in 2000, Netflix offered to sell to Blockbuster for just $50 million. And Blockbuster said no. They turned them down. They just didn’t see the value. At the time, Blockbuster was worth billions. Netflix was struggling. But we all know how that ended. And here’s the part that really got me: Netflix didn’t win because they had more resources. They won because they had more clarity. Clarity in what they were building. Clarity in how they spoke to people. Clarity in the moment their customer cared about most. Blockbuster’s message was simple: “We rent movies.” Netflix’s message? “Watch what you want, when you want, wherever you are.” See the difference? Blockbuster talked about what they did. Netflix talked about what the customer wanted to feel in that moment = control, freedom, and convenience. And it hit me: That’s the mistake I see most coaches making. They talk in headlines like: “I help with mindset.” Or “I help you take your life to the next level.” And while I get what they mean… no one else does. Not really. Not in a way that makes them stop and say, “That’s exactly what I need right now.” The truth is - people don’t care about your title or your process. They care about the exact moment they feel stuck… and whether or not you get that. Like: → “I help founders who feel trapped in the CEO role restructure their business and reconnect with the mission that lit them up in the first place.” → “I help single moms with Etsy shops turn their side hustle into steady income by systemizing sales and freeing up their time.” That’s what gets attention! Because it speaks directly to the moment your person is in and offers a way out. And here's the reflection that sealed it for me: If Blockbuster had had a real mission, a message like, “We connect stories to people’s hearts,”

Feeling defeated…
Is this thing still active? I could use some words of encouragement if anyone is out there. Update: First, thank you all so much for your support! I appreciate it so much. Second, I am back on track thanks to some wonderful mentors and the ClickFunnels family! Truly, thank you so much!! 🩵💚💛💙🩵🧡❤️

@C.a. Aseltine I was in a very similar situation this week with another program I’ve been part of for over four years. I shared a testimonial about how an important element of the program wasn’t delivered as promised. It was honest feedback, shared with the intention of helping improve things. The person in charge (a new face, but apparently well-liked by other members) responded by taking responsibility and invited me to jump on a call to talk more. But once we were on the call, his tone shifted. He was defensive, rude, and the conversation turned unproductive quickly. After thinking it through, I decided to email the program owner directly. Not to complain, but because I respect what he’s built and I know he wouldn’t want members treated like that. I hesitated for a bit, but at the end of the day I believe speaking your truth, especially when it comes from a place of wanting to help, is non-negotiable. Even if there are consequences. So I’d say the same to you. Don’t hold back just to keep the peace. If something doesn’t sit right and you feel it’s worth saying, then say it. The right people will respect you for it.
