Help with the Offer
Hi, I'm new to this business and don't have a case study yet, but I have a strong offer. My offer guarantees 30 appointments for the client within 30 days, and after 30 days, I refund $25 for every appointment I fail to secure. So, I take $30.25 = $750 upfront from the client, and I don't charge any setup fees. My client told me they don't trust the contract or me because I don't have any references to show, only my social media accounts and content. What should I do? Should I not take payment upfront and only pay for appointments I secure, or is the problem with the client rather than my offer? Should I change my offer initially to gather references?

I agree with Aaron’s reply to this message but another thing is to learn objection handling. What they told you is a objection to not work with you, which means that there is something wrong going on and in your case that’s your social proof. Try to either work for free for some time until you get results to show and then start charging money, or work on your sales skills and try to close a paid client straight off. My advice would be to work for free at first as there’s no risk for anybody.

Just skip the phone number step and you are good.
Speed of COLD calling
Should we do any type of research on each lead that we are calling, or is pace and delivery more important.

Honestly, it’s always better to research beforehand, but you should act like you don’t know anything on the call. Ask them questions about the business and try to set a call with them that way
Short-Form Content OR Full Funnels
I’m at a strategic fork right now and trying to stay disciplined instead of chasing complexity. I have solid experience in short-form content creation and genuinely enjoy it. I can confidently produce high-quality reels and understand how to shape content around a brand’s positioning and tone. There’s very little learning curve for me here. At the same time, I’m aware that for many local businesses, short-form content alone doesn’t directly generate leads. Paid ads and simple funnels usually drive the lead, and organic content acts more as the trust layer when prospects “check the business out.” So my internal debate is this: - Do I double down on short-form content as a focused service, get very good at selling it via cold calls, and start generating revenue now? - Or do I go deeper into Meta ads, lead funnels, automation, nurturing, etc., knowing there’s a steeper learning curve but potentially clearer ROI positioning? My current leaning is to: Start narrow with short-form content. Position myself as the person who strengthens a business’s digital first impression and trust layer. Generate income and build sales skill. Learn paid ads and funnels on the side. Stack skills gradually instead of trying to become “full service” immediately. I’m trying to avoid overexpanding too early and instead build competence, positioning clarity, and revenue momentum first. Would appreciate thoughts from people who’ve been at a similar fork. @Aaron Brewer @Twana Kergaye @Akachukwu Nwamu @Kyle Chan

@Affan Sagri Oh I understand now. I wish I had the skills to work with you ahah. But in my opinion, you should focus on ads to get them more clients.

@Affan Sagri I have no experience in cold calling and I'm honestly pretty scared to do it but I will find a way to do it somehow ahah
Client reaching method
Hello everyone, I’m new in this community and I’m happy to be here! I have a question: I need to find a way to find clients for an AI automation agency. I want to focus on English speaking clients. The problem is that, I am from Bulgaria and if I want to do outbound cold calls in English speaking countries, I will have to pay big taxes for the calls. Do you have any other methods in mind like Email marketing, social media outreach etc.? Are they good as a starting option without having any social proof yet? I’d love to know your opinion on this. Thank you in advance!

@Affan Sagri I have experience in Instagram marketing, appointment setting and sales. I started back in 2020 but started taking it more serious in around 2022. Since 2023 I haven’t done anything but now I wanna start with my agency business again. I’d be happy to connect brother 💪💪
