Distributed Engagement
Hi everyone! I’m somewhat of a newbie in the Facilitation space as I’ve been building experience for about a year now. I am hosting biweekly circles, and I am wondering if there are any current guides, tools, or methods I can use to engage and build trust amongst an overwhelmed audience seeking community and new perspectives.

📍Where is everyone from?📍
Hello Facilitators👋 I'm really curious about where everyone is from. I'd love to make this a mega post where we can see how diverse the Facilitator Club community is. Who knows, you might find a lot more people in your area than you thought! Once I have lots of answers on this post, I want to make a nice graph!

Project Management Workshop
Hello everyone. I'll be hosting a project management workshop of an organisation. The core of that training is already defined. My request is how I can present the whole thing in the best way , plus what do you all suggest to add as icebreakers and how I should conduct the whole session. I'm open for suggestions. Edited: it's gonna be in person. Thanks in advance.

You can get participants engaged by centering their desire to learn and or gain skills and connection from your workshop. Since you’ll be in person, try taking a wall and splitting it into a few different categories with masking tape. Label each category as a project management objective and put out post-it’s. When participants come in, have them use the post-it’s to get thinking about their goals of the workshop, and what they want to accomplish. At the end of the workshop, you can explore questions around whether you all hit the group’s goals and possible next steps. Keep it simple and fun though!
Do you have a Thought Partner?
Many facilitators are also solopreneurs, which means that when it comes to creating workshops they are working on their own. But, it would be nice to have someone to bounce ideas off or to co-create with. We may ask a friend for thoughts and comments (or post on here), but we don't go into depth due to time constraints. A friend of mine had this problem for a Creative Workshop she was going to run and reached out to me. After some discussion we came to the realization that what she was looking for was a Thought Partner. Take a look at the video we made about this, and then add your comments or thoughts below. And if you would like to explore hiring me as a Thought Partner, reach out 😀

@Jyotsna Clarkin that’s awesome! Solo contracting can be most efficient for a various reasons. I’m seeing that we find our people over time, on each new adventure!
