What an incredible Sunday diving into how to interpret the Bible in a way that actually sticks. Pastor @Mike Chiles shared a simple but powerful acronym: TAN ☀️ THEN – How did this principle or concept apply to the people living in that time? What was happening in their world? ALL TIME – What timeless truth or principle is being taught that applies across generations? NOW – How does this speak to me, my family, and my decisions today? That framework alone changes how you read Scripture. And here’s the part I love…We can all catch a little TAN from the SON of the One Almighty. He also shared a practical tip for getting into the word: Don’t feel like you have to start at Genesis and grind your way through. Instead, read the Proverb that matches the day of the month. Simple.
