Wins!
Today was a hard mental health day, just letting my emotions get the best of me. It happens, we are human, not robots. I share this not for pity for to see you in me and vice versa. We will never be able to walk in each others shoes but the more openly US we can each be, the better the each other can show up and move through the emotions. So my win is getting all my 75 Hard tasks done though my attitude was poo poo today. Let’s hear your win!! Big or small or hey, share your struggles, I bet you’ll feel better, I certainly do.

I woke up not feeling 💯. I didn’t really want to work out, but I still got up early and got my movement in and felt better after. It’s small but it’s a win
Challenge Accepted!
I was 8g short on protein yesterday and thought about chugging some clear right before bed. Ultimately I decided not to. After being on the education call and talking to Ashlynn about cramming in protein at the end of the day when I fall short - mainly so I can check the protein box - she said if I’m close and full, I don’t have to have more protein just to hit the number 🤯. Challenge accepted and I acknowledge that sometimes it’s better to listen to my body and what it needs vs. forcing a goal. It was hard not to check that damn box (which was also the kicker for not getting my overall checkmark for the day) but felt good to shift my mindset, listen to my body, and break my OCD box checking habit. And guess what?! I didn’t die 😂

I relate to this so much!! I like checking those boxes and feel like I’ve somewhat failed if I don’t. This 8 week challenge is more of a mental challenge than a physical challenge!
Starting week 2 strong!
30 min run ✅ Thrive workout ✅ Way ahead on my water and protein for the day. Hunger is real with the added workouts! Seeing results with consistency! Especially in my back muscles. These photos are a year apart and 30lb weight difference.

Feeling accomplished day 5
This week I did both a cardio and thrive workout everyday. My goal is 3-4 of each but getting up a half hour earlier made all the difference! There were definitely days I was more tired and really didn’t want to do it….proud I did it anyway!

Way to go Erin! It can be a lot to tackle both some days and waking up even earlier to do it! Major kudos to you!!
End of day 1, how are we doing??
Win: sticking to my time blocking Obstacle: feeling VERY hungry, playing with good timing Fear: no true fear just forward thinking to the 24th and how I’ll handle water and two workouts with my 12 hour endurance run. Share yours! Group text groups are coming! THRIVE>SURVIVE

@Ashlynn Dohman I’m also just working on giving myself grace. Which looks like: - not seeing failure when there’s red in my nutrition - Not seeing failure when only hit 9200 steps - Not feeling “lazy” when I ch lose a walk over a run This challenge for me is to do the work and not have the numbers define what a win or loss is

@Sarah Finney we definitely should be friends 🫶🏻 sometimes the mental part is harder than the physical and nutrition parts! I focus so much on the numbers and then feel dissapointed when I don’t lose weight or don’t hit my goals perfectly. I need to not put so much value on just numbers. Still want to hit macros and workouts and get steps in but know that it’s ok if it’s not perfectly executed all the time.
