🌟 Exciting News, Nova Nidra Family! 🌟
Please join me in giving a heartfelt welcome to Sam, who will be supporting Cat and me behind the scenes as we continue to nurture this beautiful community! A little bit about Sam: 🚗 He’s a huge car enthusiast. 🏸 He’s competed at the state level in badminton (so yes, he’s got a competitive streak... and a compassionate heart!) 🧘‍♂️ Meditation has been woven into his life since before he was even born — his mom meditated daily throughout her pregnancy, nurturing the calm energy he naturally carries. After connecting with Sam, I can truly say his energy is welcoming, steady, and filled with genuine kindness. He embodies the spirit of Nova Nidra: peaceful, grounded, and open-hearted. ✨ Let’s make Sam feel at home! ✨ Drop a comment below and share one of your favourite passions or hobbies — maybe you’ll discover something you have in common with him!

Welcome Sam! I just did a yin yoga session so too chill to think of hobbies or competitive sports! 😎
💥 Healing is Not My Purpose 💥
It’s a mantra that came up on one of my Spotify playlists recently. A Toni Jones groove that starts with her saying "I am remembering the freedom to be here, and live an enjoyable life." In the wellness world, healing is often framed as the goal. The finish line. The reason we show up to the mat, the cushion, the practice. But what if healing is just the doorway—not the dwelling. What if our real purpose is living? Fully. Messily. Beautifully. Yoga Nidra has taught me this because it invites us to be with what is. To rest with the ache. To soften around the unfinished parts. To remember that we are whole, even when we are hurting. It asks only that you show up. Lay down. Listen. Let go. And be loved. Just as we are. (Thanks for always reminding us of this @Ayla Nova 🥰) Healing may be part of the journey. But presence is the point. Peace, pleasure, rest and ease -- this is my purpose. "I am no longer orienting around pain. I am organizing around pleasure." Another line from Toni Jones that resonated with me. Or "When I breathe, I did the most." So today I ask you— Are you waiting to live fully until the healing is “complete”? Or are you willing to rest into your wholeness as it already is? I’d love to hear what this brings up for you. And of course, it is time to welcome our fourteen newest Nidra friends to the community -- we are so glad you are here to join the conversation and lean into our true purpose of just 'being' -- together 😊💖 • @Terri Edwards • @Katarzyna Poltowicz • @Jim Eyeore • @Elina Halla • @Rosemarie Fogelman • @Dhanya Om • @Guillaume S • @Petra Ahnell • @Sue Coady • @Payden Dennis • @Ashley Capobianco • @Mari Viljugrein • @Lynn Newhall • @Ange Corallo

I agree. Healing or recovery is simply a path of integrating lessons for living a better life than what would’ve been possible before whatever happened that required the conscious-making.
Another something
hello - you might not know me - please be kind - writing this is hugely painful - literally - my hand barely work because they dont want this written and the pain is indescribable - i have complex ptsd - from a lifetime Of abuse that now i just seem to invite - i laugh about it but every day is s painful i am basically hoping to die - this community has been life changing, i met amazing people and have absolutely loved sharing stuff - and (not but) I have learned something - those of us who grow out abuse and trauma are not like you - we do not have your references and kindnesses - the ground of trauma is horrible - i hope you dont have it - it changes everything - it is why we can never be friends - because we are always weird - because someone took away our chance to grow and be happy - and we will always be stuck - wanting to be loved and knowing we cannot - I know this id not my usual stuff - I always want to raise smile - who doesn’t want a larf - but please, know that the pain it grows out of is deep, searing and endless

Keep connecting with kind souls. There is hope and recovery. It is slow and deeply personal. It cannot be forced. Just know that you are never alone. Blessings and Divine Love. Nothing will (ever) cross your path that you are not uniquely equipped to handle.
