POD niches
Hi everyone, still fairly new to selling print on demand posters on Etsy! What are the best performing niches for POD? Any help on identifying good target markets would be appreciated

Do a niche you are already interested / have knowledge in e.g. boxing, computer games, art style etc.

SKU's with shopify
Hi, So i am on Shopify and have listed a poster. Is it possible to import orders so the sku's match up with more variations than just size? For example my listing has size variation and poster variation (different posters same theme on the same listing). This is OK although i believe i have to put an SKU to each variation as its not just size variants. I am happy to do this however if i add another variation for matte/ gloss/ satin finish i cant see how this would work? Thank you

hey, yes one type of SKU for one type of poster. You do not need a different SKU for size or paper type. We get size and paper type from the sale data (what the customer selected)
Pre-transit
Hey everyone. The first order that I placed on 6th October says pre-transit on Etsy. Does this mean there is a problem with it?

Hey, if you click edit order it's there, I made it so you can't edit orders on the main pending orders page anymore, to prepare for the frames update
Hey everyone, I could really use some advice or perspective right now.
My Etsy shop had a fairly normal September — steady sales, nothing record-breaking, but consistent as usual. Then October started and it’s like someone flipped a switch. I’m now a full week into the month and haven’t had a single sale. Not one. Traffic, views, and visits are all massively down across the board. I’m still getting the occasional favourite here and there, but the overall activity feels dead compared to last month. It honestly feels like my shop has just dropped off a cliff overnight. I haven’t changed my listings, prices, or ads, and my keywords and SEO were performing fine before. So I’m really at a loss as to what’s going on — whether it’s something seasonal, an Etsy algorithm shift, or just a weird lull. Has anyone else noticed a big drop so far this month? Or if you’ve been through something similar before, did things pick back up again? Any insight or reassurance would be massively appreciated because right now it’s feeling a bit discouraging.

Speaking to our printers volumes are expected to go down 10-15% this month compared to last. And then pick back up again for Christmas. Also, how many listings do you have? From memory, isn't it not loads? You will be more susceptible to market changes and Etsy SEO reshuffling with fewer listings. Obviously none for a week sucks and I do feel for you Alfie!
