Wow! What a ride. I started this AI Automation journey 28 days ago. I submitted a proposal for this client 2 weeks ago and just closed yesterday! After consuming the free 4-hour masterclass on cold email. I submitted a proposal on how to build out the best cold email machine to a client on Upwork! The client loved it and wanted to book a meeting with me. In the next two weeks, I had to spin up a proposal and retainer program and pitched him a whole bunch of ideas. He loved it all, so we added it to the proposal, getting it to $25k, but he didn’t want me to just build and leave but to have a retainer program. We couldn’t agree on the price. I mentioned equity, and he perked up and agreed! Products/Services provided: - AI Cold Email Machine - AI Voice Outbound Caller - AI Sales Snapshot - Auto Presentation Creator I can add more context if people are interested in the details of these, but one big thing I must say: THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS AN OVERNIGHT SUCCESS. I have worked professionally in tech for over 10 years at big companies like American Express, Insight Global, and Arizona State University. What I did was leverage my experience to position myself as more than a delivering tools but hiring an expert in the field. This is where real value is generated, as it’s hard to put a price on it. @Leadgenjay and @Jordan Wiseman These guys are what gave the confidence and skills to feel competent to deliver. Jay is by far the best content creator out there around cold email. Hands down. The insider program is filled with so much value it isn't even funny. idk if this is frowned upon but I want to thank others outside this community. I want to thank @Nick Saraev with Maker School. In a sea of fake AI automation gurus and fluff, he is a breath of fresh air. Realistic, humble, and brilliant….also has a great voice to fall asleep to, so deep and calm 😂. There is so much value; the community actually helps each other, and he is also here helping, which is well worth all the money.

Cold Truth: Opens + OOO ≠ Success
Your 25% open rate? It's fake. And if you're optimizing based on it, you're building your entire cold email strategy on broken data. Why Open Rates Don't Matter: - Apple Mail Privacy Protection - Auto-opens emails to preload images. You see "opens" even if nobody read it. - Google Image Proxy - Loads images through proxies, triggering fake opens. - Tracking Pixels Hurt Deliverability - That open tracking pixel makes you look like marketing spam, hurting inbox placement. - Opens ≠ Interest - Someone can open and delete instantly. Someone can never "open" but still reply. Opens tell you nothing about whether your campaign is actually working. The Metrics That Actually Matter - Out-of-office replies (proof you hit the inbox) - Total replies - Positive reply rate - Booked calls - Inbox placement tests The Real Diagnostic Framework 1️⃣ No OOO + No Replies = Deliverability Problem You're not reaching the inbox. Fix it: - Turn OFF open tracking - Turn OFF link tracking - Warm your domain properly (start slow) - Fix SPF/DKIM/DMARC - Clean your list - Run inbox placement tests 2️⃣ Getting OOO + Replies But Nothing Positive = Messaging Problem You're landing in the inbox, but nobody cares. Fix it: - Re-validate your targeting (right people?) - Lead with THEIR pain, not YOUR solution - Make value prop specific and quantifiable - Add real proof - Test 3-5 different angles 3️⃣ Getting Positive Replies But No Meetings = Offer Problem Your positioning works, but your ask is wrong. Fix it: - Lower time commitment (15 min, not 60) - Frame meeting around their outcome - Respond fast - Reduce friction Stop tracking opens. Start tracking replies.
