@Flow Fire I did pretty much everything you said. The lead magnet on my popup email isn't there yet, but I decided to make everything on the site free for now. The home page is very different now, too. I'd love more feedback if you wish. You were so spot on. I can't thank you enough! https://markwinstein.com/b/how-to-achieve-impossible-goals

Thank you to everyone who contributed to my course page. Here's the latest version. I also changed the home page. The idea is to give everything away for free until I get a sense of what's working. I need a better lead magnet on the popup. More advice is welcome!!! https://markwinstein.com/b/how-to-achieve-impossible-goals
Free 30-day private mentoring
Hi Folks, I've always had a challenge helping people understand how my mentoring can help them. I've pursued some big goals, and as a result learned a lot of big lessons that I love to share. For example, I led a campaign that got the President of the US to change a key national forest policy that saved forests on 200 million acres (81 million hectares) of public lands that were being illegally logged by the government itself! Thanks to Ted's last live session, I decided to just start offering my premium service, private mentoring, for free for 30 days to help people develop trust, see value, and also to give me content ideas and more testimonials. I love how Ted described how these days, courses should be free. That instantly freed me up to focus on what I actually love which is one-on-one private mentoring on personal & leadership challenges including public speaking, health & peak performance, growing and raising money for any kind of enterprise, and much more. If you or someone you know would benefit by gaining a new level of mastery in any of these topics for free (mostly not covered in this group), you can learn more at https://markwinstein.com Thanks! Mark

Seeking Pain Coach Specializing in Fibromyalgia
Hi guys, I'm reaching out to inquire if anyone in this group specializes in coaching individuals with fibromyalgia or knows someone who does. A friend of mine has been struggling with fibromyalgia for years, and despite seeking help from various healthcare professionals, she's still experiencing excruciating pain and challenges in managing her condition. I'm hoping to find a pain coach who can provide personalized support, guidance, and coping strategies tailored to her specific needs. Thank you!

Hi Martina, I have also had a lot of pain in my life. I used to have horrible headaches, which, thankfully I have not had in 11 years. But I have had pain in my feet for almost 6 years and still working on that. What I have learned, especially from the last six years is that there are many different possible sources of pain, not just food or even the digestive tract, although I agree, the diet is the most obvious step. But other sources of pain include muscular, imbalances, and also our thought patterns can produce toxins and pains themselves When someone is in pain, they often spend a lot of time looking out words to different doctors and therapist, or even sources of information. a part of what I teach in the area of thoughts both releases pain, causing thoughts and also gives people their own inner discernment, so that they can make good decisions about which outside doctors therapist and information sources they should follow. Two years ago, I thought, “well, all the doctors don’t know the cause of my pain. But I can see some things that I could heal.” I decided that I would just heal something, and bid my bid I’ve healed quite a lot of things. Along the way I discovered that I had a lot of negative subconscious thoughts that were preventing me from taking the actions that I knew from experience made me feel better. Just working through all that allowed me to directly improve my health and also take the actions I needed. So, for example, I really took my digestive health to a new level, and I also healed debilitating back pain which if I’m honest I’ve had for decades. While I can’t necessarily give your friend a quick cure, I think I could really help her go next level, especially with creating the attitude that she will heal and that it’s worth the effort to keep going. I’m here because I already am mentoring people on leadership and health, and now my goal is to turn this into my main income by following the instructions in this course. Best wishes, Mark

Hi, I once took a course from a guy named Yakov Smart. He used a combination of tools. TBH, I never did it, because I took the course to help a client raise money, but in the end, he self funded his project, his second vegan hotel. These days Yakov sells done for your services. The whole program is $15,000. But the self set up is very time-consuming, and for his clients who are mostly real estate developers, he realized that really they wanted the infrastructure built out for them, including all of the follow-up emails. I think he’s got a great approach. it’s more like a sales funnel starting with LinkedIn then moving to webinars and email lists. Anyway, if this sounds interesting let me know and I’ll send you a link. I’m not an affiliate or anything.

@Aman Rawat don’t try to get me banned 😂😂 What are you working on? Regarding your original post, there are a lot of ways to get a feel for LinkedIn connections using their CRM. It’s free for the first month then $100 a month after. There is so much spam on LinkedIn, that if you just use a few simple approaches and be genuine with people, you can make a lot of headway by hand. I’ve done it a lot that way, and since I’m not raising money right now, I’m not using the tools at the moment, but I have definitely had some successes just my hand on LinkedIn.
Free to paid
Help! Guys I am unclear on how the free membership works. So if I offer free membership, they can upgrade later when i change it to paid? How does that work? Much appreciation!

Well, from what I’m seeing here, Ted has a whole free curriculum. Once people have established the value of his teachings, and ideally made some money, then they will have both the desire and the cash to upgrade to his higher levels. Personally, I’m not that fond of the idea of telling the free people that they’re going to be converted to paid or bounced, but I don’t have any success in this exact question to know if that works for educational communities. I know that it does work often on Substack and those kind of platforms where people really build out fast and then tell people that 90% of the content is going to be paid going forward. But I think if you’re going to convert, that people should be forewarned when they sign up. I guess I’m old-school that way, but I think in general if you change your commitments on the fly, you’ll be generating unnecessary negative flack as if you just provide them with a graduation path, most people would understand and appreciate that because they already benefited from the free content.
