Recommendations, please?
Please forgive me, but WTF. I haven't been able to exercise since before Christmas due to multiple surprise injuries and the potential for making things worse. If I lived in a temperate climate, I could at least have been walking all this time. But right now our houses might as well be igloos. I live in a wasteland of snow and snirt (a snow/dirt mix unknown to people from warm climes) that's piled higher than usual this time of year and people are starting to predict will last well into summer. I miss gymnastics. I miss the smell of the gym, the chalk, the bouncy surfaces. I miss the people who care about having fun, pointed feet, and things that are generally not celebrities or sportsball. (The fact that I was watching a recent Hornets/Pistons game, and know who LaMelo Ball is, and now want some pink sneakers with silver stars just like his would tell my friends exactly how far I've drifted from my norms/comfort zone.) I also miss the endorphins and fitting into my clothes with ease. Please help a girl out: Do you have any happy or peppy or positive songs or playlists you recommend? Is there some kind of VR gymnastics world I can inhabit? Got any really engrossing books to recommend? Some other pleasant something to either distract me or help me stay in a positive mindset? TIA for any advice!

DROWNING
I have a request for a conversation - How much is TOO much? And how to say NO to the things that you truly know aren't serving you - but you feel you can't let go of? I hope this gives everyone some insight into my World right now.. there is some struggle (a lot) and having some like-minds and round-table discussions to trouble shoot would be sooooooo invaluable <3 Missing the RETREAT Crew!

On Wednesday, Jan. 28 join NYT-proclaimed strength-training feminist Courtney Babilya for an overview of the menstrual phases and key strategies to work with your hormones for better practices and then come back again on Feb 12 for a workshop on specific strength training plans, tips, and strategies to improve your gymnastics! Courtney has been doing gymnastics as a kid and continues to keep flipping post 2 pregnancies and with degrees in women's health! She has helped me immensely with my gymnastics in my adult body, and I am so excited for you all to learn from her! Sophia led an incredible review and goal-setting call, and itโ€™s available to download in the classroom section. I highly encourage everyone to watch it and complete the worksheet. Use it as a simple template to clarify your goals and move forward with what you want to accomplish in 2026. Thank you all for being part of this community. We have some big plans ahead for the group, for our retreats, and for the Adult Gymnastics community as a whole. This really is something special.
