90% of freelancers struggle on Upwork for one simple reason: they pick the wrong jobs.
✅How to Select a Perfect Job on Upwork? Here are some key points- 1.The hire rate should be at least 60% or above ( Some clients post jobs just for fun or they just change their mind. So it’ll be a big risk if you consider this) 2. Check Project Average (PA) - it should be $250 or more (PA =Total spent ÷ Number of hires. For Ex. : $11k ÷ 22 persons = $500 ) 3. Hourly rate should be at least $9 - $10. 4. Read job descriptions carefully (short descriptions or keywords like “Cash cow editor, YouTube Automation, LONG TERM”- are red flags❌. If you spot 3-4 red flags, skip the job.) 5. Look for good reviews.(If the reviews are good and the client paid them good amounts, then you are good to go) 6. Prefer clients from US/UK/Australia. (Avoid Asian countries like India, Pakistan, Bangladesh) These are the points I’ve learnt so far from Abdullah bhai's dummy bidding sessions & @Haroon Khalil's videos. If I missed anything please let me know in the comments .It’ll be a great help for me.

Note #3 Take Ownership - Don't Blame Others
Date: 3-1-26 (Saturday) Title of the Lecture: Take Ownership - Don't Blame Others Course: Mental Mastery for Unstoppable Growth TAKE OWNERSHIP - DON'T BLAME OTHERS: This video explains why we should never blame others and take full responsibilty of our actions, Because only then we'll improve in our lives. KEY POINTS: - Never blame others when something goes wrong. - When you take the ownership, you realize your mistakes and when you do that you are one step closer to solving that problem. - Another thing you can learn from this topic is the perspective of others. - Taking the responsibility of your actions also helps you with reflecting on your decisions. WHAT I'VE LEARNED PERSONALLY: Is that I should never blame others whenever there's something wrong with me or in my life, Because if I don't take the ownership of it, I won't be able to grow as a person. Action for me: Start taking the ownership of everything, Learn from the mistakes and be better than before.
