Always know your options!
Nothing like getting assigned on 257 180 puts contracts on AAPL for 4.6 million today! Glad I have the PUT (AAPL) APPLE INC MAR 22 24 $180 (100 SHS) to match. Never go naked! Apple is in a very bad place at the moment. I closed the share in accts for a profit. Now I sold th puts as apple drop more from the close. made a few dollars.

$SPY ??? Sell Puts on $XLK or $XLE or $XLF Worst that can happen is you get PUT and have to sell Covered Calls.

PYPL buy now pay later related stocks on the rise
2023-1218 sold PYPL Feb 16 55 Put for 1.63 I believe it was the 20 delta strike. I have an limit order to buy it back for .75. Naked Puts will be profitable/decay faster than Put credit spreads. When I first started out years ago selling options I typically sold Put credit spreads. Now that I have Portfolio Margin I sell Naked Puts.🍺🍺

@Baja Pete Thank you Pete. I have seen an overly simplified wheel strategy. This however is much more advanced in showing call expiration and put expiration strategy. Put assigned: Sell Straddle

Covered Call Option
Sell to Open on 1/4/24 $MSFT for $7.60 [exp. 1/19/2024 Strike $370]; Buy to Close on 1/5/2024 for $5.05 = $255.00 profit in 1 day. Still taking it slowly and methodically. My other was "paper hands" @ Sell to Open on 1/4/2024 $MSFT for $9.30 [exp 1/12/2024 Strike $365] Buy to Close on 1/5/2024 for $7.76 = $154.00 profit in 1 day.

BEST day to Sell to Open CC
I am thinking that selling a Covered Call on a Friday expiring the following Friday is more lucrative (higher premium) than into the same week of expiration..... would that be right?? Also, it would seem that even in the same day if early on the Premium is higher; then later on IF price momentum decreases and subsides, one could "Buy to Cover" in expectation of the price to rise once again.... making profit on that exchange.

Thank you for the confidence boost Lindsay. Taking it 1 step at a time. I have 300 shares of $MSFT but only took 1 contract. Fear kept me from taking 3 contracts last Friday. I could have tripled that return.... so today, I might approach it a little differently. I am a Cancer survivor from 2019 and feel so vindicated to be in the Grern NOW that Eric has helped me to turn a VERY important corner in my Life. I fall asleep watching trading videos and I wake up eagerly very early EVERY day to trade SUCCESSFULLY. ERIC SETO says..... STOP LOSING MONEY!!!!!!!! I HAVE!!!!!

I agree about Friday to Friday. Also, keeping it in mind that you may buy to close if needed. I thank everyone for their insight especially Eric. Iron sharpens Iron.
