Twilio number integration with GHL
I need to buy a Twilio number because I’ll be using an external Voice AI provider (Retell/Vapi) — mainly for outbound calls outside the US. Here’s the issue: How do I connect a Twilio number to GHL so that: incoming SMS messages sent to that Twilio number appear inside Conversations, I can reply to them normally from GHL? Older instructions and tutorials don’t work anymore (the “API Keys” tab is gone, and the option to add your own Twilio inside Phone Settings has been removed). I only see “Twilio Account Read” under Custom Integrations, but it doesn’t allow adding or managing numbers. Has anyone figured out the current working method to: connect/import a Twilio number into GHL, receive + reply to SMS, and still use that number with an external Voice AI workflow? Any updated guidance would be highly appreciated.

Hey Maks, you’re absolutely right that the old tutorials don’t apply anymore since GHL removed the direct Twilio connection options. The good news is there is a working setup that allows a Twilio number to receive SMS inside GHL Conversations while still being used for external Voice AI calling. It just requires configuring Twilio webhooks and routing correctly so GHL handles the SMS portion and your AI provider handles the voice flow without conflict. VA or Contractor?
I've taken on a project to replace a nonprofit's associations crm. They will need websites built, email campaigns, workflow and automation to help run their business, primarily invoice memberships, continuing education, and holding events. Question about Google Appointments
I have 4 Appointment calendars in my google calendar and would like ghl to pick up a new appointment (set by the client) and send them a email. Is there a way to set that up? TIA!
