WINSday!
Let's hear them!! Its easy to set a goal and then do nothing about it then feel "broken" or "something is wrong with me". I am shouting out @Amy Thompson in our community! Not for her ability to execute (which is amazing) but for the BORING, the planning ahead and the being in the driver seat of her journey, sending her weekly recap via chat in the 1st Phorm app along side her assessment so I can best support her and have a better view and understanding of her week! Having the tools is one thing, using them is another! @Amy Thompson share a tip or tool in the comments that has helped you keep YOU and your health and fitness journey at the forefront! Everyone else, share a tip that helps you or a struggle so we ALL can show up better together, supporting one another! How is MARCH, March going??? Day 1 was a struggle with LIFE LIFING HARD but we know its ONLY 1 day and I have 30 other opportunities to EXECUTE, lets go!!! THRIVE>SURVIVE

I adjust my work schedule hours according to the weather report. If I work 8 to 4 I can get 4 or 5 miles in at track before my husband gets home at 6ish and before it gets really dark. If I do the 9 to 5 shift I do weightlifting and maybe some cardio for an hour before work.
FriYAY fun! 🤩

Win: sticking to my time blocking Obstacle: feeling VERY hungry, playing with good timing Fear: no true fear just forward thinking to the 24th and how I’ll handle water and two workouts with my 12 hour endurance run. Share yours! Group text groups are coming! THRIVE>SURVIVE

1st day Wins 14,000+ steps, sprinting some of it, jogging some, and 149 grams of protein! Obstacle went over on my calories but burned some on my walk, so I’ll say it’s a tie. Fear, none really but maybe “worried” about getting my protein in the week before my scheduled colonoscopy on 1/30. Not sure how that week will work for workouts as well. I know I can definitely get my steps in that week.

We welcomed a new grandson this morning. Mom and baby are doing great. My son is a blubbering mess. Can't wait to hold him.

Congrats!
Wins!
Today was a hard mental health day, just letting my emotions get the best of me. It happens, we are human, not robots. I share this not for pity for to see you in me and vice versa. We will never be able to walk in each others shoes but the more openly US we can each be, the better the each other can show up and move through the emotions. So my win is getting all my 75 Hard tasks done though my attitude was poo poo today. Let’s hear your win!! Big or small or hey, share your struggles, I bet you’ll feel better, I certainly do.

Such a busy day at work and when I got home, felt so tired my legs ached. Pushed myself to go to gym and walk on treadmill. Tried jogging some but my legs were not cooperating and they felt really heavy. Forced myself to walk 4 miles. It was grueling but I got it done.
