Nerd Document Alert! FLE❌THEORY Muscle Adaptation Summary
#Muscle Adaptation Summary This took me way too long to reduce in size. It was previously 35 pages, and I had to give it more specific direction. The link below represents the FIRST of many documents that detail the methods, modalities, and meaning that originate with our intended outcomes. This document may get updated, but as a recovering perfectionist - I decided to share what was meaningful rather ruminate over what could be even better. Please use the link below, and learn more of the terminology that unfolds the strategies that make FLE❌THEORY successful and relevant as a lifestyle. It covers the following in detail: 1) The importance, structures, and processes of Hypertrophy (Muscle Growth) 2) The role of the structures and processes in developing Flexibility and Explosive Power 3) How this training leverages all of the above to combat Age Related Sarcopenia 4) How these attributes produce Athletic Longevity and superior movement in ALL of us There is also a glossary of terms, and links to source research. (Expect about 200 of these.) In order to keep appropriate groupings of the upcoming documents together and use better options to make the links cleaner, I created a Documentation Library area in the Classroom. That’s golden, Excited to read them all Thank you for sharing and caring @Andre Victorian
Insight 💡 #GGBB
I tried my first session of #GGBB Session #1 10/9/2025, and honestly, at the beginning I only felt a slight stretch in my lower back, which made me think the level was too easy and that I should be doing something more challenging. After talking with @Andre Victorian , he clarified that the primary target of this exercise is the SI joint, and that feeling a slight stretch, rather than intense effort, is exactly the goal. Here’s pictures of me doing the exercise, where I point out exactly where I feel that slight stretch. Would love to hear your thoughts, did any of you feel the same way when you first started? 👇

@Tinh T Thank you for sharing that. When did you really start seeing changes? And did you finish the full GGBB sessions?

That's great, Glad to know! I do Calisthenics as a main sport. Combat, running, and hybrid training as alternative sometimes. What about you?
Thursday Thunder!
I have come to realize essential strategies that allow me to kick faster and harder than I could a few weeks ago by reevaluating core principles. This allowed me to reduce the number on instructions per skill by imposing a physics-based set of guiding principles. The principles produce the queues for the movement, and each queue turns groups of instructions into just one. I found that I had to behave in opposite ways compared to how I was previously executing in some cases, and was able to autocorrect and reconsider complimentary exercises that intentionally train the updated behavior. This is like seeing movement through the lens of mathematics and software, and my inner (and outer) nerd is beaming. No matter how good you are at anything, no matter how good you become, keep an open mind to doing what is necessary to increase and thrive harder. Look at your faults, weaknesses, and mistakes with objectivity to correct them, rather than to beat yourself up. Seek better principles that allow for better choices while being honest about who/where/what you really are in the moment of evaluation. Hence further leaning into the phrase: Train the Truth Let the truth, set you free.

I recently started focusing on Taekwondo-style leg training, including sprinting and jumping drills, to build relative strength useful for any sport. I usually dedicate one day a week to it🥊 Most of my training is centered around calisthenics skills and building overall strength @Andre Victorian

Begin #HOF One 9/19/2025 This is more intense work that begins strengthening your hips at length all the way around the sockets, and makes ALL of the straddle work more accessible. Same deal with 2-3x/week. 5) Enter the Straddle is perfect if you can sit in s straddle position with a 90 ° spread, and have the ability to lean forward and put your hands on the floor unassisted. #ETS Session One 9/1/2025 is the beginning of lifetime changes.
