Post Your Breath Hold (Week 15: Apr 6th - Apr 13th 2026)
The breath hold does not lie. If there is one thing you can train, that does not cost anything, and is available to you at any time, it's the breath hold. Whenever you need a reset, prepare yourself for a difficult moment, or get wake yourself up, hold your breath. It does not have to be long. It can be a minute. maybe even 30 seconds. The thing is... once you make the breath hold part of your routine. A quick hold becomes a gentle push... a nudge... instead of a challenge. This Sunday, Stig explained exactly how you can implement the Breath Hold in your daily life. And how you can continue to improve your holds over time. Catch the replay below 👇

@Phillip de Bruyn yes it is. Anyway i dont get fixed with nothing, each day is different, if it works i use it, if not i try different things and if its feel like "Today is not the day" so i move forward. Because not allways your state of mind is the same. So far its working pretty well!

Hello @Stig Severinsen , hello comunity friends, this is my 3th day in the 7 day Challenge. I'm so excited to rich my best mark ever (at least checked). 4:21:80 I found very effective to do: 5 Rounds of 30 cycles of breathing with breath hold on empty (1:00/1:30/2:00/2:30/3:00) at the end and then in the 6th I do breath hold on full... it's really very effective because breath hold on empty is much more uncomfortable (for me at least) than breath hold on full so is a perfect "warming". I did 5 rounds because on the 5th i have to recover before holding time finished. This could be a nice formula (at least for me), doing breath holds on empty, with previously setted time and when i get to my best on empty holding then after rec. i do breath hold on full. I'm a Scuba Diver as well as a swimmer (not profesional but pretty advanced), i m 54, i swim 3K x day, and practice Breathwork for years, different methods, and mostly explore my self with those tools. I allways practice Dry, Static mostly, breath holds and i want to go into the free diving world and mix both of my pasions. I meet Stig on last 25th Breathfest in Cabo by Dan Brule and i decide to start with Breathology. It took me sometime but im here and really gratefull and glad for being part! i will keep working hard... which means Enjoying! thanks 1 2 3

The Breath Hold Challenge is not about pushing yourself. Wait, what? If you stick around for a few days, you learn that to hold longer, you don't push. You go into a state of relaxation. And forget about the world around you. Yes, I get it. When your diaphragm is jolting up and down. You are not relaxed. Stig has a secret hack to activate the Vagus nerve. One that he has used in preparation for his Guinness world records. Watch the video 👇
