5 contributions to Selling Online / Prime Mover
Online sellers note this
Ecommerce doesn’t have to be stressful to work. A well-built store can be simple, predictable, and scalable. I run an online store, and today it doesn’t require constant pressure or long hours. That didn’t happen by luck. It came from focusing on a few proven principles that actually work. Here are 3 things I see successful ecommerce stores do differently: 1. They keep it simple Most stores struggle because they do too much too early. Clear product angle. Audience. Traffic source. Simple scales better than complicated. 2. They build repeatable systems early Things like: - product research with clear rules - the same structure for every product page - automated emails that handle follow-ups and trust When something works once, it gets turned into a system. 3. They think long-term, not “quick wins” Real ecommerce success comes from: - strong offers - customer trust - consistent testing, not random changes That’s how you grow without burning out. Ecommerce is still one of the best ways to build a scalable online business, if you focus on what’s proven and ignore the noise. I’m curious: - What part of ecommerce are you currently working on or learning? - What would “success” look like for you with an online store? Drop your thoughts below, happy to share what’s worked for me and learn from others too.
LET ME ASK YOU A REAL QUESTION…
Have you ever woken up one morning and thought: “What if I had a business that didn’t depend on my mood, my boss, or even my physical presence?” A business that runs 24/7, even while you are cooking, sleeping, working, or simply living your life? Let me tell you a quick story. A few years ago, I was just like many women, working hard, multitasking, dreaming of financial freedom but not knowing where to start. I wanted something of my own… a brand, an identity, a stream of income that didn’t disappear when I stopped working for a day. One day, someone asked me a question that changed everything: “Why depend only on the money you work for, when you can own a system that works for you?” That hit me differently and I had to rethink . Because the truth is: - Wealthy people don’t chase money, they build systems. - Successful women don’t just hustle, they create value and let the world access it. - And the bold ones.. they build a brand that speaks even when they are silent. So I took a step. Not a perfect step. But a bold one. And that step led me to a business model that gave me what I had always wanted: - A global storefront - A brand identity - A product line people can purchase from anywhere - A system that works 24/7 - And a community of people building wealth intentionally Now, let me turn the spotlight on you for a moment… 💬 Do you have a brand of your own? 💬 Do you have a business that earns even when you're asleep? 💬 Have you positioned yourself for global visibility and wealth creation? If your answer is no, or even “I’m not sure”… Then maybe it’s time to shift your focus. You deserve more than survival. You deserve ownership, income, visibility and global access. And the beautiful part is You don’t have to figure it out alone. I’m here to show you exactly how I did it and if you want, we can elaborate more If you’re ready to explore it… If you’re ready to try something new… If you’re ready to build wealth intentionally… Comment below.

@Jessie Forston I love that you’re already building your brand. What type of brand are you working on right now?

@Jessie Forston Wow that's great.
You Think You See the Whole Board… But You Don’t
I just got off a call with a consultant for a new business I’m building.. And honestly, it blew my mind. I went into the call feeling pretty good.. my assumptions were lining up, my direction felt solid, and it was nice to get confirmation that I wasn’t crazy. But then he hit me with something I didn’t see coming. A possibility I hadn’t even thought to consider. A pathway that, if followed all the way through, could 100x my best expectations. And it made me realize something: We all walk around with massive blind spots. We think we see the whole board.. but we’re only seeing the square in front of us. Even when we’re smart. Even when we’re experienced. Especially when we’re experienced. There is an “ignorance tax” we pay every single day.. not because we’re careless, but because our worldview is too small. We optimize funnels. We rewrite ads. We tweak copy. We obsess over details.. But none of that compares to what happens when someone further along reveals that the game you’re playing could be 10x bigger with the same effort. No amount of split-testing replaces a shift in perspective. No funnel tweak comes close to someone showing you a *better path entirely.* This is why you put yourself in rooms with people who’ve done more. People who’ve made more.. Who’ve helped others make more. People who stand at a different altitude and can see terrain you can’t. You don’t hire consultants for tactics. You hire them to shorten the years you’d waste guessing. One conversation can collapse timelines. One insight can change the shape of the business. One new perspective can remove years of friction. It’s almost unbelievable how limited our view is until someone hands us a bigger one. Surround yourself with people who see more than you do. You’ll grow faster than you ever thought possible. 🚀 - James

Your experience is a great reminder that real breakthroughs don’t come from tweaking tactics, but from being around people who see the game at a higher level and can reveal opportunities you didn’t even know existed. And that was the exact action I took that transform my vision and my business skyrocket.

@Lucas Marco I'm good, my business has been an amazing journey and the ROI I'm getting is more than what I expect at first, because of peoples bad misconceptions. Thank God I didn't compromise
The Day I Almost Burned My Business to the Ground. Literally
I was staring at my laptop late at night, watching campaigns barely move, ideas failing, and wondering if all my effort was just noise. Months of experimenting online, testing different approaches, and grinding alone had brought me nowhere. I felt stuck, frustrated, and close to giving up. Then a stranger commented on one of my posts. His message was simple, but it caught my attention. Curiosity got the best of me, and I replied. That conversation became the turning point. He introduced me to a business model as a real opportunity and connected me with a mentorship I still work with today. Through the guidance, I began to see my efforts differently. I started taking focused action, testing ideas, and learning fast. Slowly, the pieces started coming together, traffic, engagement, small wins, momentum began to build. What once felt scattered suddenly made sense. Here’s what I want to ask you: - Have you ever had a random online interaction completely shift your perspective? - What would you do if one conversation could unlock months of progress? - Are you open to seeing your work from a perspective you haven’t considered yet? Sometimes, the spark comes from the most unexpected places. One conversation, one perspective, one action, and everything changes.

Surprise Commission.
I got a commission today that I wasn't expecting. I didn't expect it because when I referred the person to the program, I did it without really thinking about it. I thought it would help them, I gave them the link, and didn't have any expectations about what would happen. Some time went by, and I kind of forgot about it. I just figured they went a free route it offered. Then today I got the payout. It reminded me of something I thought I had learned years ago at the beginning of my massage career, which has made a huge difference there. I was missing it with my affiliate business, though, and I think it's been one of the main things holding me back. What's the lesson? Let go of the expectation. Don't focus on the outcomes. Focus on doing what's right by people with the understanding that the outcome you want will come. It may not come from this person, but it will come. Alex Hormozi talks about this a lot. He says not to focus on the outcome. Focus on the inputs. You can control the inputs, but you can't control the outcomes. Either way you want to see it, the scenario is the same. Focus on doing the things that lead people to become clients, not the outcome. To get more of the outcome, do the inputs a lot.
