#FriendFriday 🎉
It's time to celebrate each other! In the COMMENTS BELOW, please share a Skool community you think is doing really great things. It can be one you've participated in yourself or one that you've heard from others is amazing. Please do the following: 1. Tell us the name of the community and link to it (affiliates allowed). 2. Tag the person who owns the community. If they are not in the CLASSIFIEDS, then please send them a DM and let them know that you mentioned them here. I promise you will make their day! 3. Describe why the group is so wonderful and how it has helped you. Please DO NOT just copy and paste the About page! 4. Comment on each others comments and scroll through the referrals to see if there's an amazing group you are missing out on! Thanks so much for supporting each other and this community! Please note that any #FriendFriday mentions that are created as new posts will be deleted. Thanks! Please DO NOT promote yourself. 🤨. The entire community is for promoting yourself. This post is for celebrating someone else. 😊

The Campfire Theory
I created a summer camp idea inside my Skool community, the Good Girl Gone Bold Club after thinking of creative ways to do "the work" of detecting our protection patterns and rewiring them to go bold. 30 days of themed camp experience (we just started Monday - not too late to join!) The camp ends with a campfire circle on week 4. So campfire talk was on my radar. I came across this tonight and I couldn't scroll past it. The Campfire Theory.🔥 SIDEQUEST: Friendship talk incoming Since our whole destination this month IS the campfire — it felt like the universe was sending us a little mid-week side quest. It's about Friendship. As grown women (heck, maybe men find the same challenge) Can we just be honest about this for a minute? Making friends as an adult woman is HARD. Like — genuinely, surprisingly, nobody-warned-me-about-this hard. When we were kids it was easy. You sat next to someone at lunch. You both liked the same TV show. You were friends. Done. But somewhere along the way it got complicated. Heck, I just got unfriended by not just one, but three women I thought were friends. That's how it goes. We get busy. We got burned. We moved. We changed. We outgrew people — or they outgrew us. We stopped having the automatic proximity that made friendship feel effortless. And a lot of us ended up with a wide circle and a quiet ache for something deeper.💛 The Campfire Theory names that ache so well. Here's what it says: Some people come into your life for your warmth. Some stay long enough to enjoy the glow. Some disappear the moment you burn low. But a rare few... Stay when the night gets cold. Bring wood when your flames grow old. Share stories and embrace your warmth. Protect you and weather the storm. Those are your people. Finding them — and more importantly, BEING that person for someone else — that's the real work of adult friendship. Can we find that here in online communities? HEre's my thought on where that starts.

Do you have a community for professional women?
Specifically for those who feel like they have to do it all and are starting to buckle under the weight? I know you’re out there because I’ve talked to you, but the names of the communities are eluding me! @Victor Jackson has responded to our #Connections prompt today and is looking for something for his wife. See his heartfelt post here: https://www.skool.com/classifieds/connectionssection-support-for-the-strongest-person-i-know?p=46fe6d46 Let’s work together to make a connection! 😊

@Faith Adebayo thank you so much for the lift! You rock! I love our community of smart, capable women of purpose and having you in it brings me joy.🌟 I just read Victor's post 😭. What a loving man and husband. Our group is def a good space for the overfunctioning woman (hello, me?). We def dig into the conditioning that led us to take on this identity. We arent pushing to do more, be more but rather TRUST that being YOU is enough.
The perfect summer book club for women in midlife.
To the woman who has spent the last few months taking care of everyone else… This is your reminder that you matter too. 💛 You deserve something that’s just for you. A good book. A cozy cup of tea 🍵 Meaningful conversations. A community of women who understand this season of life. That’s exactly why I created our Summer Book Club. It’s not about reading as fast as you can or adding one more thing to your schedule. It’s about making space for yourself. We’re reading Eat, Pray, Love throughout July and August, and I’d love for you to join us. If you’ve been looking for a sign to slow down and reconnect with yourself this summer… this is it. Come join us inside Embody Her Glow. We’d love to have you. 💕 https://www.skool.com/embody-her-glow-5555/about

Have you run a virtual summer camp kinda thing in your community before? Something with a mission + the fun. Doing one right now? Was it free? Low ticket? Love to chat and learn what engaged your people. The fun and play? Prizes? The outcome? I've wanted to do something like this for a long time, and honestly? Between AI tools, interactive experiences, and the fact that it's July - I BIT! Perfect time to inject some playful magic into the work I was already doing. 🪄 I'm just going for it. Next week I'm running a 30 day summer camp inside my community — like an actual camp. 🏕️ Almost REady Camp! ✨ A hand-illustrated map with a trail to follow 🦊 A fox guide (my spirit animal) who's already made the journey 🪧 Obstacle stops with names like "The Excuse Thicket" and "I'll Start Monday Switchback" 🚩 A flag to capture 🔥 A campfire waiting at the end And... camp treats along the way. 🌿 This is where it took on more ME. Recipes. Garden tips. Something artsy. Maybe even a music moment. All things that round out a full camp/retreat experience for grown-ass women who want to stay connected to the playful inner child! The work is real. The outcome is real. But it's dressed like summer, not like homework. Which got me thinking. 👇 If you ran a summer camp inside your community this summer, what would make it worth showing up for? What's the one thing that would make someone think okay yes, I'm in. Not out of obligation, but because it genuinely sounded like fun? Share if you like. I'm all fox ears. 🦊✨ PS. It's all happening in the Good Girl Gone Bold Club here.

@Amanda Owens hey lovely, great insights. I may be biased. But it feels like you just described this camp better than I could have. 🦊 The first task? One word in the comments. That's it. You're in. There's a trail with four stations, obstacles worth naming, a fox guide who's already made the journey and a campfire at the end where we celebrate what you actually captured. Epic moments built in. Connection guaranteed. Payoff is real. And there's a map. Because a. I LOVE fun maps, especially treasure hunts. and 2. Gamers see where they're going. 😄 As for payoff, is it a tangible prize? A new skillset? A tool? I'm sure it varies from person to person.
