PSA: Why the CLASSIFIEDS is a public group
When you join a group, it’s always a good idea to make note of whether the group is public or private. Public means anyone in the world can see everything inside the community (unless there are locks on courses). Everything inside is also indexed by search engines like Google. Private means only the people inside the group can see what’s posted. So while most people will choose rightly to have a private group, the whole point of the CLASSIFIEDS is to enhance your visibility and get you more members. I don’t want you wasting your time posting about your group and having it only seen by the people inside this community (as wonderful as they are!). On the flip side, make sure groups you are in where you are posting sensitive information are private. Check out the groups you are in. Any surprises???

Ooh, didn't know this was public. Trusting you vet the bots and bums to keep this the wonderful space it is.😘

@Angela Caccioppo this is so crazy I was just in the midst of shouting out your community. I was just looking for your about page link. LOL. Thank you for the shoutout.😘

If you’re a woman who has spent years pushing, powering through, being strong, capable, and ā€œfineā€ at the expense of your own tenderness—I want to shout out @Angela Caccioppo and her group Self-Love Scribe Circle. Much needed space right now. It's a calm, heart-centered community for women who are ready to slow down and learn to be gentle with themselves. What attracted me to this group was her focus on "gentleness." I've treated myself very utilitarian at times, capable of handling all the things, without gifting myself gentleness. Beautiful healing space I'd recommend especially for the driven ones pushing and overriding their body's signals to soften up, heal the inner space and honor their needs. Her space matters. 🌿

Back when I was a health coach, I remember one of my big platforms was about watching your numbers. But not the numbers most women keep tabs on - weight, waistline and calories. I was about the health numbers: blood pressure, cholesterol and blood sugar. Fast forward to today as I dive into Skool (one month and a few days ago) I promised I would detach from the numbers as a measure of "success" and just "make friends" with them. At the time I was thinking more about the number of members in my community. Whether I had 1, or 3 or 300 (or wowza, 3,000) I'd by ok with that. The thing is that the numbers really getting me in the feels today are the discovery numbers. I've been fascinated to see how much our group has risen from the ashes in just 30 days. On Dec 13 Good Girl Gone Bold was ranked at 11,050. Today we're ranked at 3895. Our retention rate is 100%. We have 12 bold members. Engagement rate is.... 92%! Moral of the story. Follow the numbers. Remember, they're data. You can make friends with data.

Congrats @Shannon Boyer , must take a listen to your podcast. PLUS, the masterclass yesterday was gold, exceeded my expectations and was FRESH! 😘 I'm celebrating Good Girl Gone Bold jumping 7000 points on the leaderboard in our first month with zero churn after 7 day free trials - with just honest, intentional connection and real conversation in our first month! Woop woop. šŸŽ‰ This time around, the game plan is different: ✨ Steady building without self-imposed pressure ✨ Strategic use of Skool groups + collaborations ✨ Listening first to what resonates with founding members ✨ Validating what actually works before expanding I’m also celebrating the capacity building happening as I transition from the old way to the new way (as you so perfectly named yesterday). That means: Opening the community without a fully stocked classroom to impress. Trusting measured expansion based on what’s needed for real transformation. Letting go of overloading members with challenges, workshops, masterclasses, and content for the sake of ā€œengagement.ā€ Not living for the numbers as a real metric of success, but not avoiding them either. This is a big deal for me. It honestly feels like a faith walk. My element is fire šŸ”„ Slow and steady doesn’t come naturally. But… you live and learn. Or partner with someone who anchors you so you can fly but not drift. 😁 In the past, I showed up as the excited people-pleasing, performative good-girl community leader — doing what I thought I was ā€œsupposedā€ to do daily to keep engagement high. I over-did the intellectual learning instead of the felt transformations. And when members posting slowed a few months in? I panicked and over-gave to prevent churn. Not this time. The clearest signal you're on the right path as a community leader? šŸ‘‰ You’re actually enjoying the journey. When you feel like hiding instead of showing up, something’s out of alignment.

@Mimi Ramsey yep, for someone who hasn't been a number watcher, it's a healthy jump when I wasn't even promoting it yet.
