🧠 WHO CAN FIX THIS, DUPLICATE MANAGEMENT AND DATA INTEGRITY EDITION

Why A - Intelligent duplicate management: Configures Matching Rules to define _what_ is a duplicate and Duplicate Rules to _alert_ users (not block them), keeping the workflow smooth. - Clean existing data: Uses reports and duplicate record sets to merge/clean current duplicates, fixing inflated sales reports and marketing emails. - Scalable & non-disruptive: Automated alerts let users decide, avoiding unnecessary blocks and ensuring daily work isn’t slowed. - Meets all business needs: Data integrity + reporting accuracy + user experience 👍.
🧠 WHO CAN FIX IT? (RECORD VISIBILITY EDITION)
You have just been hired as the Salesforce Admin for a UK based consulting company. Here is the problem. Sales reps are complaining that they can see each other’s Opportunities, even when they should only work on their own deals. Managers want visibility into their team’s records. The business does not want to change Profiles or object permissions because those are already correct. The goal is simple. Sales reps should only see their own Opportunities. Managers should see their team’s Opportunities. As the Admin, what is the best first action you should take? 💬 Vote below and explain your thinking in the comments. This one separates those who are studying from those who are guessing 👀 King regards Godwin Mbah #WhoCanFixIt #SalesforceAdmin #RecordVisibility #OWD #PathwayToSalesforce

B Reasoning: Since profiles/object permissions are correct, the issue likely lies in sharing settings. Checking OWD will show if Opportunities are set to Public (causing reps to see others’ deals). Setting OWD to Private would restrict visibility to owners + managers (via role hierarchy). Next, ensure *Role Hierarchy* is set up so managers inherit access to their team’s records
📊 Quick Check, For Daytime Live Classes
Team 👊 Most of our live sessions currently run at 8 PM. Before finalising the timetable, I want to confirm what works best for everyone. Please vote in this poll 👇 Poll question Do you want daytime sessions for live classes added, to the evening sessions or should we stick to evening sessions only at 8PM? 👉 Important If you select Yes, I would like daytime sessions, please drop your preferred time in the comments, for example 10 AM, 12 PM, 2 PM, etc. We will use the responses and the most common times shared to decide whether to add daytime sessions, and what specific time works best. Your vote and comment will directly shape the final schedule. Kind regards Godwin Mbah
