🧠 WHO CAN FIX IT? (RECORD VISIBILITY EDITION)
You have just been hired as the Salesforce Admin for a UK based consulting company.
Here is the problem.
Sales reps are complaining that they can see each other’s Opportunities, even when they should only work on their own deals.
Managers want visibility into their team’s records.
The business does not want to change Profiles or object permissions because those are already correct.
The goal is simple.
Sales reps should only see their own Opportunities.
Managers should see their team’s Opportunities.
As the Admin, what is the best first action you should take?
💬 Vote below and explain your thinking in the comments.
This one separates those who are studying from those who are guessing 👀

🔘 A. Update Opportunity Profiles to remove View All access and rely on Role Hierarchy for visibility
🔘 B. Set Opportunity Org Wide Defaults to Private, keep Profiles unchanged, and allow Role Hierarchy to control manager access
🔘 C. Create owner based Sharing Rules and criteria base Org Wide Default to restrict Opportunity access and adjust Role Hierarchy accordingly
🔘 D. Remove Opportunity access from Roles and control visibility using Permission Sets and Page Layouts
