Somatic Bodywork Coach & Healer
I help client shift stuck emotions and release trauma from their body. Anyone else do something like this type of healing / coaching? I've been in this space for about a year and absolutely love it. I combine it will moving energy with conscious breath. There's always something that's ready to be released :)) I think most of this work is done in person, but I've only coached people on video calls and it works pretty great but I'm sure there's more levels!

@Erika Ruszinyak ah, I see, Ya that would be a huge challenge digitizing that šŸ˜… spinal flow is enjoyable šŸ‘ŒšŸ¼ I have a spinal injury so I am susceptible to falling out of alignment even though I work very hard to maintain it.

@Erika Ruszinyak yes I’ve done everything for my injury. I went to a chiropractor first, that was a mess. Then I went to an osteopath and that was better. Then I got to try this spinal flow but it was presented to me as ā€œspinal alignmentā€ but when I looked up spinal flow the video is exactly what was done to me. It’s not just a structural thing and that’s the issue with so many ā€œfixesā€ is they all just attack what they can see, the physical structural things. There was an energy restructure that helped maintain the physical alignment. My back has been solid, I still have some issues with my neck (heavily spurred C3 and C4) I was hit hard…
Growth Plan Session
@Ed JC Smith Nobody showed up to my Growth Plan session zoom call today? Is there something I missed? I received the email with the zoom link and everything and just sat there with it saying waiting for the host to start the meeting…? What should I do? How do I get a makeup session?

Objection #1 : 'Not enough money"
How do you respond to Objection # 1: "I don't have enough money!"?? This is a community effort that I am initiating - a sales resource for when we all address this issue BEFORE your client vocalizes it (PROACTIVE, then reactive). The ideas mentioned need to be incorporated Into your initial presentation of your coaching package before the client articulates the objection. Ed actually handles this skillfully in his training when he asks the client: "What would happen if you didn't? What wouldn't happen if you didn't address this problem ?" (Yes, i'm aware of the double negative.)... etc. For example, "How much money would be wasted on expensive wallet crushing lawyers if you didn't even attempt to address thĆØse issues in your marriage ?" The Idea is to awaken the client to greater potential cost (monetary, emotional) they would incurr if they let the problem continue. What is your response?

@Jessica Stolte Bender amazing :) My true belief and tactic is stated below in a different reply… snippet: ā€œOur goal is to help people thrive not to cripple them. I may ask them to sit with it and really ask their intuition and listen to their gut. The decision needs to be theirs not forced.ā€

@Jessica Stolte Bender šŸ’•Thank you so much for your support and kindness. Lots of love in this community, I feel it šŸ’•
It will suck, it will be embarrasing, it is real. How do you deal with it?
Ed told in the call today: "Build an anti-fragile person. The only anti-fragile person is the one of the learner." What is your biggest motivator and self-esteem booster to not give up, to fall and stand up, again and again, and face embarrasement despite big fear?

My First PAYING Client
It's a big difference. I thought with so much free coaching exchange practice I've had... it would be a breeze to transition to charging for sessions! No. It was not a breeze. Imposter Syndrome kicked up big time. I had anxiety before nearly every session. And as soon as I was in the session.. all was well! The sessions flowed smoothly. My client has given me positive feedback. So why the worry, anxiety and nerves..? I am not sure, but if you have insight, please let me know! I've had 5 sessions with my first paying client now and they have all gone well. she's made some breakthroughs, done some healing, had some mindset and perception shifts, sleeping better etc. And I still feel nerves for next session! šŸ˜†

@Martha Acevedo agreed it’s all about the journey and there’s no better way to ride it than to be the hero of your own journey. Merry Christmas to you too šŸŽ…šŸ¼
