Happy Aussie Day mate!
Fragrances
What do you think an appropriate time to wear a fragrance is? Definitely not at Mass because you don’t want to stand out

For Mass, you can wear an understated scent or just something like Proroso shaving balm in wood or eucalyptus.
Shirt and tie pairing
Hi team, Sorry for my long absence whilst I finish of my Master thesis in educational leadership. My question is I want to pair a tie and a pocket square ( maybe pink or gold with blue polka dots) with my dark navy shirt. I was thinking of burgundy or a rust color tie. What are your thoughts?

Advice on Price and Quality in my recent post
Gents. I was reflecting on my sleepwear post and realised that the brands and items I posted about are considered very "high end", I mean, the house shoes/ slippers retail at $480 GB Pounds. My circumstances, at my age, nearing retirement, might be different from yours. After a lifetime of working, I should be able to afford a few quality items. What I don't want is for you, younger gentlemen, to think- I need that to fit in or look good. No, you don't. Buy quality when you can, but less is more. If I had my time again, I would sacrifice fashion for quality. Also, I would give everything I have for more time with my kids and to be truly present with my wife and family. Wally World clothes are just as huggable to kids when they wrap their arms around your legs!

@James Armijo I hear you, brother. You have to get up, put on your war face, and then you're ambushed when you get home. Yeah, for sanity, you need your space. You didn't mention having a partner. If you do, plan for your time for each of you. I would suggest having a time scheduled- not at all romantic! Put $20 a week aside for a babysitter, so you have a date night together. This might be old-fashioned, but YOU are the adult in the room, not the kids. Set the bounds for your 6-year-old; the twins can start learning the word NO. This might sound harsh, but as a teacher with 29 years of teaching experience, the single biggest challenge we face is that the students before us are children who don't know boundaries. You can pm me anytime and vent!
Bedtime Stories: What do you sleep in?
I’ve always thought that style doesn’t have to end when the lights go out. I love classic men’s pajamas. Pajamas that you see men such as Clark Gable, Tyrone Power, or Cary Grant wearing in old movies, Tonight I’m sleeping in a vintage Brooks Brothers Royal blue pajama and wearing, before bed, a pair of L.L. Beene slippers. Just before I call it a day I have a cup of Earl Grey and two cookies. In the morning I throw on my black Ralph Lauren terry cloth robe and look brightly pulled together rather than disheveled and falling apart. What do you wears to bed?

Thanks! I also have Bowhill and Elliot house shoes/slippers. They are the supplier to Crocket and Jones.
