Yoga Nidra Experience by a Student
Hello everyone, I taught a yoga nidra session a while back and one of my students came in at the very end of the pranayamakosha and this is what he had to say: "Today , from where I picked up, I could not join the two opposites Felt like chain saw and metal clanging and sparking against each other Or two opposite metal sheets not merging And the ending, I had pain in my temples, just slight, but it was there , However , I almost fell asleep somewhere in the middle of it and couldn’t catch a line or two. I guess this is the best therapy possible, to look within, however it will take time as judging from today, I enjoyed it thoroughly and yet was feeling disturbed at same time Yin and yang Comes to life With this format Thank you Stay blessed" What are your thoughts on this? Do you think it is that perhaps it has to do with jumping in mid practice and missing out on the chance to start off with the relaxation portion? Perhaps his mind was still very active when we went into the opposites? Thank you!
