Starting again.
Assalamualaikum. My name is Ghazala, and I joined this community in October. I was actively learning, taking notes, and planning my Winter Arc goals. Unfortunately, at the beginning of November, I lost my mobile phone and with it almost all the data I had collected for my online career and personal growth. As a student, I couldn’t immediately afford a new phone. This setback cost me nearly one and a half months, and the goals I planned to complete before the end of the year were delayed. Still, I believe everything happens for a reason. This experience became a sign for me to start again. I believe in growth through failure we fail, we learn, and we move forward. If starting over is required, I am ready to do it as many times as needed. This is also a reminder for everyone here: setbacks do not define your journey. If you keep trying, progress will follow. 3 Lessons Learned 1. Setbacks are part of growth. 2. Consistency matters more than timing. 3. Starting over is strength, not weakness. Motto: “Restart, rebuild, and rise stronger.”
Daily Journal | Day 41 | Sunday, 12 October 2025
Today felt quite short and a bit lazy overall, but the real highlight was our session with @Ahmed Saleem Kasmani Bhai, @Moazzam Sajid Bhai, @Muhammad Ammar Ahmed Bhai, and @Sohaib Khan Bhai. We had a deep and meaningful discussion about time management, our future selves, and various aspects of personal growth. The session was originally planned for one hour, but it went on for two hours because of how engaging and insightful it turned out to be. Although the session was open to the entire community, unfortunately, not many people joined or stayed till the end. Still, Alhumdulillah, it was an amazing discussion filled with valuable lessons and reflections. In Sha Allah, we’re planning to host more sessions like this in the future, and I really encourage everyone to join. These discussions are not just for sharing our thoughts but also for learning from each other and growing together as a community. 📊 6-Month Goal "In the next 6 months, I will master the art of client acquisition through Upwork by consistently learning bidding strategies, proposal writing, and communication skills while working in my current job. I will gradually build my own Upwork profile, attract inbound leads, and start outsourcing projects to a reliable team to create a sustainable freelance income stream. Alongside my career growth, I will stay spiritually grounded by performing all five daily prayers with consistency, completing the recitation of the Quran, and maintaining a strong connection with Allah throughout my journey." 📊 3-Month Goal "In the next 3 months, I will develop strong bidding and communication skills by learning how to write persuasive proposals, identify profitable clients, and close deals confidently. I will gain hands-on experience in understanding client needs and agency workflows while also start building my own Upwork profile on the side. By maintaining discipline and consistency in both work and worship, I will stay regular in my five daily prayers and complete at least half of the Quran during this period."

This Might Be My RUDEST Post Ever… But Read It Twice
Your ego is silently killing your dreams. You don’t even realize it. You think you know everything. You think asking for help makes you weak. You think you’re better than others just because you “tried once.” But let me tell you something… Your ego doesn’t protect you, it limits you. It makes you argue instead of learning. It makes you defend your comfort zone instead of outgrowing it. It makes you chase validation instead of results. The people who win? They stay humble enough to learn and hungry enough to improve. They don’t care about being right... they care about being better. If you can’t take feedback… If you can’t admit you’re wrong… If you can’t start from zero again… Then your ego is already running your life. And that’s why you’re stuck. So before you say, “I already know this,” Ask yourself… If you really did, why aren’t you living it?

Hadees Of The Day | Translation, Detailed Explanation & Dua
Translation (English): “Know that victory comes with patience, relief comes with distress, and ease comes with hardship.” (Sunan al-Tirmidhi 2516) Translation (Urdu): “جان لو کہ کامیابی صبر کے ساتھ ہے، راحت تنگی کے ساتھ ہے، اور آسانی مشکل کے ساتھ ہے۔” (سنن الترمذی 2516) Explanation: This hadith reminds us that patience is not weakness but strength. Every hardship carries within it the seed of ease. When we trust Allah and remain steadfast through challenges, He opens doors that we could never imagine. True believers don’t lose hope; they endure with faith, knowing that relief is always near. Short Dua: اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنَا مِنَ الصَّابِرِينَ وَارْزُقْنَا رِضَاكَ فِي كُلِّ حَالٍ Translation (English): “O Allah, make us among those who are patient and grant us Your pleasure in every situation.” Translation (Urdu): “اے اللہ! ہمیں صبر کرنے والوں میں شامل فرما اور ہر حال میں اپنی رضا عطا فرما۔”
