Oh Yeah
Whilst not exactly thrifting I just managed to purchase a new Linen Sports Jacket and a Merino Wool Arglye Patterned Lightweight Sweater. Each piece was $59, sale prices were $99 but as I am a regular customer the manager gave them to me at the upcoming Black Friday (still 2 weeks off) sale priced. As you can see the Jacket was $499 RRP (2 years ago) and the sweater always $149 RRP this past winter. As I said, not thrifted but damn I got a great deal, and look how well they go together.

🏆 Friday Wins: What You Learned About Style
Some weeks - it’s not about what you bought - it’s about what you noticed. Maybe you realized your heavier fabrics finally make sense in cooler weather. Or that a simple color combo beats trying too hard. Or maybe you just learned that showing up put-together changes how people treat you. Confidence can come from struggle too. People that I admire have a lot of confidence, part of it is through struggle.
Expensive vs midrange vs affordable
Good morning gents! I’ve been looking at watches recently to save for and I have a few in mind, but I wanted to get a consensus on a question: is it better to buy an expensive name brand (Rolex, etc.) or buy a midrange brand (Tissot, Hamilton, etc.) or buy an affordable brand (Lucky Fours, Timex, etc.)? What’s the benefits in going higher or lower?

I try to stay away from branding. Currently have only one watch that I use, a black leather strap Citizen. It is affordable and gets the job done. You can go for function first, then quality and if you have the money go for brands.

I was going to say Green Arrow too. The guy has pure skill with the bow. Styles himself very well.
Warm clothing for fall/winter but still stylish
Hello, gents. With the cold mornings of fall and winter, I notice that just wearing a dress shirt and a blazer/suit jacket is not enough. Even if you button the blazer/suit jacket I still feel the cold attacking my chest and neck area because of the V design of the blazer/jacket. With wind it is even worse. I am thinking of adding a cashmere or wool pullover over the dress shirt and then putting on the blazer/jacket. What do you think about this? Also I am planning to buy a navy or black overcoat so I can dress it on top of a dark blazer/suit jacket. Do you have any style advice on this?

Great advice. Regarding the pullover I have one in wool of navy colour. I hadn't think about other colors but between the three you mentioned I believe camel would the better. Regarding the overcoat I think I will go with navy. Also I just recently saw one in tweed like fabric of a camel/grayish color.
