Learning From Others
Growth doesn’t happen in isolation. I’ve found that actively seeking perspectives from people outside my usual circles challenges my assumptions and opens doors I didn’t even know existed. The willingness to learn from someone else’s experience is a shortcut to wisdom — if you’re willing to listen and adapt. Who has shared insight with you recently that shifted the way you think or act?

This is golden! No matter how much we may think we know, truth be told, we all stand on the shoulders of greater people. Often we are equally taught by those who may not be decorated with degrees — so remain open and willing to step down from the pulpit into the student’s role. Life is great and too much to learn for just one life… lets us be curious about everything with a huge enthusiasm that ignites the room with passion for life.

There are few communities available for coaches and consultants That provides real value and most are just spam communities. . . Day in and day out my ads get bombarded with negative comments about coaching I get tired of people commenting negative things. how all coaches just want to make money etc Coaching is a scam etc Making money is not why I decided to become a coach. There is nothing wrong with making money from coaching However, if it is the most important factor to you as a coach You are most likely going to fail. . . Money is a by-product of being an amazing coach. Money is a by-product of being able to create amazing transformations with clients The truth is most coaches/consultants are just not that good at the skill of coaching

Just had my first haircut in ages...
The hairdresser didn't hold back: "Mate, I've seen your videos. What were you thinking with that long hair?" 😅 Take a look at the before and after photos below… What do you think?! I mentioned this on my Relationship You Deserve coaching call the other day, because getting a haircut is a great metaphor for “letting go”. You see… As we get older, letting go becomes harder. We get institutionalised by our ways of thinking. Conditioned by our old patterns. And in today's world of black & white content, it's easy to find reasons to stay stuck: "Relationships are too hard" "Everyone's toxic" "It's safer being alone" But here's what I've learned after 20+ years of coaching: When you don't do the work of letting go of past traumas... They just keep showing up in your relationships. Over and over. You start labeling everyone else as the problem. "They're all narcissists" "People can't be trusted" "Dating is impossible these days" It's easier to blame the world than look in the mirror... To think about how YOUR attachment styles create certain behaviors. And to recognise YOUR part in these patterns. In other words… Sometimes the hardest person to face is yourself. But that's where the real growth happens. That's where transformation begins. And as coaches... This is exactly what we help our clients navigate. Not by being perfect examples. (Obviously. See: my recent hair choices 😂) But by being honest about our own journey of letting go. Of facing ourselves. Of doing the work. Because at the end of the day... Whether it's relationships, career, or yes... even hairstyles... Growth starts with letting go.

Damn Coach. Look them locks of thick hair. I shave because early in life, nature had to find humor in helping me for a pocket of island for hair. I was so lucky to get a friar tuck bald look, or a Nicholas Cafe, Peninsula. But lucky for me, I was working toward my black belt in BJJ and MMA had its shaved look finally make bald look cool. I would prefer to have the locks of hair that my hair dresser swore up and down I’d keep my entire life. But I’m content and happy being as I am, too. Congrats of the haircut … thought I’d share that funny moment as a preface to congratulations.

I never understood the impact words had on us and others. I’m now beginning to see just how powerful they are in shaping life. Thank you for the quote.
