TIP: Google and social profiles are your friends. I like to start with books I've read. I've also used courses I've taken and products I've purchased. What are some partner criteria? For me... I look to partner in areas I am naturally drawn to and the potential partner has a clearly different and unique angle/philosophy/plan to remove PRESENT PAIN from people they care about. I want to help sell desperately needed MEDICINE...not nice to have, preventative VITAMINS. AFTER that... I look at economics. How many products/programs do they have? It's way harder to get deals and have great first dates with a biz that only has ONE product. It also means they probably haven't been around long. Find their program/product pages. (this is different for SAAS) Do they have one product? 3? 5? How long have they been around? (The longer the better because it means they've got more CUSTOMERS/CLIENTS.) Then I look at my income goals per partner. Let's say you want every partner to bring in at least $10k per month... Now work backwards. If they have a $5,000 program and you get 30%... That's $1500 per sale. Now look at their audience size (roughly) and flow... Will it support that? If they say they've sold 3,000 programs in the last 3 years... Then we've got a starting pool of 3000 customers...and they are doing roughly 100 sales per month.
