file system as a second brain
https://www.loom.com/share/695f077f0e524754a16559a70fd5088b tl;dr Using VS Code, Claude, and Obsidian together to become a master thinking partner has sped up my time to result in completing tasks, because I don't have to sift through a shitload of manually written notes that took me forever to take. Rather, I have a little AI buddy that knows all of the things that I want it to remember and can help me think through specific pieces of information that are all cross-linked to each other which is really fun! really really helps when i'm back and forth between meetings all day and have to sort through a wide array of tasks. (don't worry, i don't use this architecture to build and ship things like video projects or animations!) thoughts?

@Roc Lee thank you for this!! i started having claude trim down my files a bit and reorganize based on your suggestions. i do see the need to start getting reaaally specific about what it should be doing. i think right now its helping me document a lot of research and think with me through complex problems. im in the middle of building my business, while also trying to document client results, SOPs, new findings, and instructions for workflow automations when i end up needing them. so its basically my business thinking partner, as well as performing tasks for me while im in meetings, such as generating ad campaign concepts for my review once im out of meetings.
OpenAI Remains the Leader for Enterprise
If you haven't figured it out by now I don't do Claude. I thought this was in interesting post. Key Takeaways - OpenAI leads paid AI adoption among U.S. businesses at 35%, but Anthropic has surged to 30% in just over a year. - Anthropic’s growth has been driven by enterprise tools like Claude Code and Cowork. - Google, xAI, and others remain far behind, each used by less than 5% of businesses. What’s everyone running with? Mac or PC?
Hey everyone, Last year when my pc died I made the switch to a MacBook Air M4, now I’m considering the next purchase. Should I go the Mac mini route? Or do a new PC build? What’s everyone running with? Thanks in advance!

for anything work related i'm always on mac, but for anything gaming related i'm typically on windows
Now that's a win! Folders set up and skill built.
I got my folders set up for the therapy business, and I created a skill at the right level in one of the folders to score a 106-question psych screener. We do them often, and they're a pain to hand-score. Using the folder structure, I can now see how I can package this along with other things as a part of our intake/screening process.
