π€ 3 Things I've learned since joining Skool
I have not been on Skool that long but this is for sure my favorite place to be at the moment. I'm having so much fun here and I just wanted to share 3 things I've learned since joining Skool and working with the communities with @Ryan Duncan and @Dave Heraud 1. Building trust within online communities begins with transparent communication. π¬ Creating trust within a Skool community starts with being open and honest in how we communicate and what we communicate. Using Gifs has been a fantastic way for us to break barriers and foster a community where people go to have fun and enjoy themself. Why so serious right? I also believe it's about creating a safe space for people to feel comfortable giving their opinions. Someone who has also done a great job of this in their community is @The Mind Supply 2. Less is more π On the Skool games ceremony, Alex mentioned today how less is more. When there's less to process or understand, it's easier for people to grasp the message or concept within a community. Having fewer distractions allows for better concentration on what truly matters, leading to deeper understanding or appreciation and also deeper connections that allow you to retain members for longer. A concise message or a minimalist design can often have a more significant impact. 3. Focus on the small things while you build π€ Small wins count just as much as big wins. Take it step by step: Don't overwhelm yourself by looking at the big picture all at once. Break down the process into smaller, achievable tasks. Just focus on one thing at a time, like setting up your about page or connecting with other people. And lastly, remember your why: Think about why you wanted to start this community in the first place. Keeping your purpose front and center can help you stay focused and driven. What have you learned since joining Skool?
