Changes... again. I hope you'll be happy for me :)
Life is all about figuring out what fulfills you right? And I’ve totally been going through the loops of trying new things over and over, I know it’s probably making you dizzy. And I’m SO sorry for that. But somehow, accidentally, I’ve stumbled across something that’s filling my cup in wild ways I’ve never experienced, and I need to follow it. It’s the first time I feel like I’ve found my creative outlet, and I’ve decided to actively pursue writing, poetry specifically. I wanted to be a writer when I was young. I’ve got like 10 books partially written or mapped out etc etc. But they were always such big projects. Poetry feels like I can tell a story and move on without sitting in it for years. I feel so free and full of life from writing, and I know I need to follow it, develop my skills, and see where it can take me. It’s my first creative pursuit I’m taking seriously, instead of helping creatives with theirs. Scary!! One of the many reasons I didn’t make the 3am Thinkers Club paid for a while was because I didn’t want to be locked into anything in case I did change. I wanted to feel it out properly before I committed committed. And I’m so glad I did. I’ll keep this here for a while because I still love the conversations, but I wanted to let you know first that it won’t evolve into a paid thing, because I want to pursue art and creativity, something I didn’t think I’d ever be able to say. Thanks a million for being with me through this and giving me another go when I have been all over the shop the past few years. I have no idea what’s next for me, but I’m so thoroughly thriving in using my brain for creativity. I have no way of explaining the pleasure it’s bringing me. If you are interested - totally zero pressure as it's pretty dark stuff - I can be found at @poet.tri on Insta Much muccch love xx

The new ad for Samsung has really grabbed my attention.
What are you holding onto? Samsung is not the same. This ad has so much, the music, the people in black is kinda like an art piece. Let’s have a chat about it! As it really has made me think about how we use our phones and how they are attached to us all the time. What are we holding onto? Link below https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=G2sj-9sEZM0

Very true trish! As an Apple user myself this is definitely directed at us, didn’t even think about that! Maybe targeting the younger generation 20-30 year olds. The gen ZS. These younger adults seem to be more aware, socially correct and happy to break social norms. Also if you get them young they are likely to stay with the same brand phone forever. But then I do think it’s targeted to all ages, anyone that is questioning the world we live in. As a 37 year old it made me really think about how we use your phones ( in a very physical sense). The music is also soo clever, it’s intriguing, serious and even a sense of sadness till the end when they show there new phone and the music picks up tempo. Takes you on a journey, but in the end if you purchase the new Samsung phone you will be happier lighter and different from everyone else who kinda look very flat.
Health insurer change to customer service model
So this is an example from my current part time workplace. I know the real answer, but would love to see what you come up with. Why did this health insurer change up where and how its customer service employees worked? Brining them from centralised locations for phone and chat support, to having them (where possible) work in their local area? Sometimes from their local store where they might also do face to face customer sales and support?

@Cate Gleeson well I literally just bought life and trauma insurance today so can speck to this directly. 🙋🏼‍♀️😍 I used an insurance broker, she only did conversions on zoom or face to face, normal phone calls were not aloud. It definitely made the whole experience feel like you were getting 1:1 care. Also is way harder to say no to something when looking at someone. It’s also more personal they can read your face and maybe advise on something else just by reading our body language It’s so strange, this huge company now has a face and I have a relationship with them which seems like good value for money . I works…. I was 100% suckered in 😆 I couldn’t say no.

@Cate Gleeson so can you tell me why for the real reason? 😅 I’m sooo intrigued
No advertising… is that a strategy in its self?
First question so not sure if it’s correct …. But here goes. 🫣 let me know if it’s on track trish . This has been on my mind for some time now. Can a business thrive with no online presence and absolutely no advertising?? Is this actually a strategy? And what company’s do this? Do any businesses do this? And why?

@Kate McCready hahahaha I love her!! So great! Thank you! 🤣🤣🤣 Face to face advertising, this is so true…. I just thought of it as word of mouth but it would be so intriguing to organise and fully plan a marketing plan which is 100% face to face. This has got me thinking for my own business …. Definitely an avenue I have never ever considered. … Thankyou! 🙏

i feel like this is the exact opposite to what a branded car usually looks like. No professional fonts, brand isn’t clear, lots of colour and silly vibes of the guy wearing a tutu. Quite clever as now days people are sick of the traditional advertising. This is interesting to look at, is intriguing and actually makes you read it. Attracts a young clientele that are looking to deal with a down to earth company… “ They are not like the other garden suppliers” not afraid to stand out.
