yea, being able to see progress/usage (ideally even more detail than just overall % would be great) of the members is super important for me, too... eager to see when it will come back!?
I’m an online fitness coach and I have a group of clients I am looking to bring over from my Facebook group. just wondering if this will be an effective tool in the long run. I have already been through the free skool mini course so it looks awesome. I think it will be, but it will be good to hear some user experiences too! Thanks fam!
@Tristram Samoa hey! Did you end up shifting over from a FB group to skool for free group? I’m a physical therapist and (like you) am concerned about people in pain wanting to create another thing that they have to login to and something that is unfamiliar- I can’t see people in chronic pain wanting to create another login and hanging out on skool. Vs Facebook most are already there. Make sense? If you’ve made the transition- would love to hear how it went.
Good communities highlight their members. It's all about the members. That's YOU! We want YOU to share how you're using Skool so others can get ideas and learn. We'll give spot prizes (like Skool merch) to members who share something cool. If you share something people find useful — we'll promote you to our 800k email list, 134k YouTube subs, and put you on our website that gets millions of monthly visits. We created a new category called "How I'm using Skool". Check it out! If you want to share how you're using Skool, create a post in that category with a good title, a short description, and a quick (less than 5m) Loom video sharing your setup/use-case. Help us help you!
@Scott Maclean hey! Do you have any concerns about people not being as engaged / “on” skool when it comes to community engagement? I have a free FG group where I help people in pain. I can’t see them hanging out on skool… (not entrepreneurs- but rather middle-older aged people in pain) but I could be wrong. Plus, not sure of system for appointment setting/how that would work. These are my two reservations to switching over. But lately- message restrictions are just a pain on FB and making me reconsider…. Any thoughts?
Just a thought... Seems like right now, the way people gain "points" needed to unlock new levels and move up the leaderboard is through likes/engagement... But what if they got bonus points for inviting their friends/people they know who may benefit- into the group. Invite or referral points that could go towards "unlocking"... so, for example, in order to reach a certain level and unlock a course- someone would have to invite 2 people who would benefit from the community... Might be a nice way to build a community quicker- and also incentivize people to help you spread the word about what you do. What do ya'll think?
