The very first day I had the idea for this community, I thought that I would make it possible for people to purchase a pinned post. Then, I started running the community and became a pin hog and felt like I couldn't give up the premium real estate. I wanted everyone who was new to see the Start Here post, and I wanted everyone in the community to see important notifications and hashtag days. But more and more people have been asking for the ability to get their posts pinned to the top for a certain length of time. I also want to keep some of the pinned posts because I think they are important for setting the tone of the community and keeping you apprised of important information, but if I could open up one pinned post spot, what would it be worth to you to have that spot for 48 hours (if anything)? Just to be clear - you would write the post and I would pin it. It would not be coming directly from me. Do you ever have those members who say they want big results…… but then never show up, never ask questions, never take action, and slowly drift into lurker mode? It’s such a strange part of running a Skool community. You can give people the roadmap, support, and opportunities, but you can’t make them take the step that actually moves them forward. So I’m curious… how do you handle it when someone’s potential is obvious, but their effort isn’t? Do you: • Give them a nudge? • Build more accountability? • Try a 1:1? • Or just let them circle back when they’re ready? I’ve been testing a bunch of approaches inside my own corner of Skool, The Prosperity Network, and some patterns are really starting to emerge. Ads rotate weekly. 📰 You can place your ad by creating a draft course in your own community and then copying the course key and sending it to me to copy into the Classifieds. Course keys can be found by going to the thumbnail of the course in your classroom and clicking on the three dots in the top right corner. 2. Premium members also have access to all live events on the calendar. This includes meetups twice a month (called the PERSONALS) and open drop-ins once a month. 📆 The meetups are structured and focus on improving your visibility as well as helping you make connections and foster collaboration. 3. Premium members also have the opportunity to host their own free masterclass for all members on the CLASSIFIEDS calendar. This gives you the chance to provide value to the members and then pitch your group or product at the end. 💵 In order to qualify to host a masterclass, you have to first take my How to Teach a High-Value, High-Converting Masterclass workshop ($27). The next one is being offered on January 6th with doors opening for registration January 2nd. After taking the prerequisite workshop, the first masterclass you offer is of no charge. I had a realization today that honestly blew my mind. Like so many kids in the 70s and 80s, I had my tonsils removed, and no one thought twice about it, it was “just what you did.” But here’s the part I suddenly remembered. I was four, left overnight in a hospital ward, sleeping in a crib because there were no regular beds available. 🥺 I remember gripping the bars. I remember the shot in my butt.
