Hey Parents... can I ask you a question about gaming?
Do you actually know what your child is doing when they’re gaming? Not guessing. Not assuming. Actually KNOW? This is your chance. YOU'RE INVITED! I’m joining forces with Kyle Harris (who helped design games you and your kids love and may actually be playing right now) for a LIVE Q&A where nothing is off-limits: 🎮 Are games designed to be addictive? 🔞 Can kids play “safe” games that aren’t actually safe? 💬 What’s happening in chats? ⚖️ Who regulates all of this anyway? 🌟 Are there real benefits to gaming? 🤔 What are some great games to play as a family? And most importantly… 👉 How do YOU stay calm, connected, and in control as a parent? This is your chance to help with the hot issue of gaming... as 2 experts in Gaming & Parenting come together to help all of you parents, grandparents, caretakers or anyone that just wants to know about the games they're playing. 💥 BONUS! 💡 Bring your child’s favorite game & we’ll break it down LIVE. 🎁 FREE GIFT for all attendees... THE SCREEN BANK Encourgement System to get Screen time on Your time, not theirs. 📍 Zoom | 🎟 Free | THURSDAY, APRIL 30TH at 8:00PM EDT 👉 REPLY "I'M IN" To this post so we know you're attending. Today is not just Easter, but also the International Day of Calm. Here’s a nugget from today’s talk on reducing your stress over money. What if the way you respond to money… is exactly what determines how much of it flows to you? In this powerful moment from Karyn Melko-Medeiros’s session, she shares a simple but transformative shift: ✨ Celebrate every dollar that comes in. This isn’t just mindset fluff, it’s grounded in science. When you acknowledge and celebrate income (big or small), your brain activates its reward system (dopamine pathways), reinforcing positive associations with money. Over time, this reduces stress, shifts you out of scarcity thinking, and trains your nervous system to feel safe receiving more. And here’s the truth: 👉 What you appreciate… expands. 👉 What you celebrate… you create more of. This is how we move from tension around money → to trust, flow, and possibility. Take a moment today: Celebrate something—anything—that came in. Even $1. Even a saved expense. Even an opportunity. 💫 That shift matters more than you think. If you missed Friday & Saturday, You also missed talks on Hormone therapy and strengthening women’s heallth, yoga, Qi Gong, Chanting, Epson Salt Soaks, Forest Bathing, Eliminating Self-Sabotage, Laughter and on and on. GREAT NEWS!! One more day!! Dont miss Monday…4/6… last day and we kick off at 10:30 with me and then a talk On becoming Unbreakable at 11. Join us and register DayofCalm.org

Where Nature & Nurture Meet
Day One of the International Day Of Calm Summit was yesterday and had an incredible response from everyone that attended and listened to the speakers and sessions that were there to help your mindset, reach your goals, and live a life where calm leads you and where you lead with calm Day two, today, starting at 10 AM EDT, brings together Nature and nurture, because they should never be separated or chosen between. Discover the sessions with our team of Nature Science Medicine physicians that are a part of our Day Of calm foundation and learn from doctors who will teach about alternative methods of healing as opposed to the traditional methods that just don’t work for everybody or every body. You can join day two on YouTube by going to the link below. Check out today’s schedule attached. I’ll kick off the first session with helping you not to yell at your children and why it’s important not to. I will also read a poem I wrote in honor of this day and to honor our mission of the Day Of Calm foundation. “Calmness is a lot more than you think. It involves every area of your life. Sign up to attend the Day of Calm Summit. You won't regret it. It will change your life.” … From Christine… one of the participants in day one. I hope you’ll join us, it’s continuing through Monday 4/6… a wonderful way to honor Easter & Passover The International Day of Calm is Sunday, April 5 and honored to share that day with the message of renewal, hope and new beginnings, that Easter brings. Where Nature & Nurture Meet
Why Does My Child Have Such Big Reactions to Small Things?
If your child’s reactions feel bigger than the situation… If small things turn into major meltdowns… If you find yourself thinking, “this shouldn’t be this hard”… This is for you 💗 It’s easy to assume kids are overreacting. Or that they just need to learn how to handle things better. But most of the time, these moments aren’t actually about what just happened. They’re about what built up before it. Many kids are holding it together longer than their body can manage. And then something small happens… And it all spills over. It's really easy to focus only on the reaction and try to deal with that in the moment. However, it is crucial to look at what they needed before that moment. 💠Physically (what their body needs): Are they tired, hungry, or do they have an itchy bug bite they can't stop scratching? 💠Sensory: Is it loud, busy, uncomfortable, or overwhelming? 💠Transitions: Have there been unexpected interruptions or more activities happening than normal? When you start to see these patterns, the reactions begin to make more sense. And when things make more sense, it becomes easier to respond in a way that actually helps. 💬I'd love to hear when these moments tend to happen most for your child—during transitions, certain environments, or later in the day? 💬 Come and join me in my community, Raising Curious Eaters, where we discuss sensory and emotional regulation, feeding, and a whole lot more for our young humans.
