29 contributions to Synthesizer School
Andrew Kirby's Shorts (+ Bonus! Iman Gadzhi compare/contrast)
For those who didn't notice, Andrew & company have been on a firestorm of getting a bunch of new shorts out on the channel & it's a great example to see for people who want to see how the Synthesizer School Professor himself does it. ______________ They're good. ______________ Bonus! I also looked at Iman Gadzhi's stuff & I noticed 𝒐𝒏𝒆 primary difference (𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘐 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘥 𝘎𝘢𝘥𝘻𝘩𝘪 𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘥 𝘢𝘴 𝘢 𝘴𝘰𝘭𝘪𝘥 𝘦𝘹𝘢𝘮𝘱𝘭𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘦𝘮𝘶𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘐 𝘤𝘢𝘯'𝘵 𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘵 𝘒𝘪𝘳𝘣𝘺 𝘤𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘪𝘯 𝘧𝘪𝘳𝘴𝘵) Utilizing subtle visual persuasion, he is clearly invoking more wealth envy (𝘢𝘭𝘣𝘦𝘪𝘵 𝘪𝘯 𝘢 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘤𝘭𝘢𝘴𝘴𝘺, 𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘰𝘣𝘯𝘰𝘹𝘪𝘰𝘶𝘴 𝘸𝘢𝘺, 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘦𝘹𝘢𝘮𝘱𝘭𝘦, 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯 𝘛𝘢𝘵𝘦). I've had a feeling these more base invocations and flashes of glamorous imagery may play more powerfully with a "shorts" audience (similar to Instagram) than long-form content -- but this of course will change the quality / type of the audience. So there definitely can be a cost : benefit analysis in deciding what to go for. Depends on the goal. __________________________________ Bottom line for me: - Take all the good ideas you have - They'll be woven into longer content at some point - You can cut & clip them from there - It seems way less important for them to be "perfect" (well-packaged into a 1 minute video) and it can even be advantageous to not fully "finish" the idea (may make the audience want to seek out the longer-form content / find out what video it was from, etc.) - I like this more, because the main creative thing I suffer from is how to package and organize the ideas. >>> 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗳𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 -- tiny ideas!! The best ideas are often literally things that fit on flash cards and sticky notes. So work it like that.

Startup requiring capital, sequence to obtain funding
Apologies for long post. Will be creating a dating/friend app. I have a decent network of people to help with all facets of the actual development. However, full scale launch will require significant capital. Does anyone have any wisdom on how to get the ball rolling? Kind of a catch 22 as without a working product, getting investors is difficult, but without investors there's no capital to build. My team is capable and we can produce all aspects of the project, but so actually build a working app trying to do what we're doing will require additional workers to assist our coder. Do people usually take the risk and front up money and pay workers or is it better to build as much as possible and look for funding once we have as much proof of concept as possible? Or would people recommend doing as much as possible then sort of a 'fake it till you make it approach' to get the funding then build?

One way to discover your proof of concept could be in person events. It will give you your first group of people to help and a fast feedback loop to improve your theories. Then you take that theory and develop a minimal tech prototype. Check out no code solutions like https://bubble.io/ After this you can choose to raise investment from investors or bootstrap this yourself. This is similar to what I did at www.joinef.com. I was in the 2nd cohort and It's a startup accelerator that originated in the UK. They provide early stage seed capital. Hope that helps.
Question - On YouTube Should we make content only for 1 audience
Guys For ex if I want to create content on YouTube and I am interested in 3 things Like affiliate marketing(Chad Bartlett), business case studies(Coldfusion), youtubers case study(Paddy Galloway) Should i create all those content on 1 channel or should I have specific channel for each one Because "business case studies" audience may not interested in "affiliate marketing" or "youtubers case study" and vice versa So it will not let any of my videos pick up So guys am I just making it up or is this true with Youtube?

Hey Ankush. I have been through and mentored for www.jumpcut.com as well a number of the other courses. Were just about to hit 1m subs in 2 wks. What's your goal with this and what's your budget?
