Expanding on drill tutorial...
Finally got around to finishing the project-after-the-tutorial, plus some extra work. Feedback welcome, as I prepare to put this on my own site in a bit. Learned some hard lessons about how far I should take things like micro-bevels in Plasticity, as no matter what I did the exported mesh inevitably had some issues especially when UVing. But there is only a little rebuilt geo here; most of it is plasticity exported polygon-soup.

Very Nice. What did you render and texture with?
Dimensioning in Plasticity.
For everyone who wants to use detailed dimensioning in Plasticity and calculate the mass of the detail to verify its correctness, I recommend it: https://youtu.be/NiWS1yXXqbs?si=7Klbe2SisBe3dHCT The video also covers the problem of tangent curves.

i like this guy. There is more and more learning content as plasticity expands its audience.

I got your message here, maybe it was slowed down by the maintenance.
Nail Gun
I finished the Nail gun tutorial. I modeled and rendered it in Rhino 8. Before you guys blast me because this is a Plasticity arena, hear me out (haha). I wanted to see if the content of the courses was transferable to other software. And indeed, it is! Nikita does a great job of explaining concepts, and although the tools aren't always the same, the design principles behind it all are. So, thanks Nikita, this has helped me learn not only Plasticity on the Glue Gun but also Rhino on the Nail Gun. Now back to Plasticity for the Drill! Onward and upward. Oh, and as usual I didn't follow his tutorial exactly, I wanted to put my unique spin on it.

Looks great! Don't be shy about using other software. I think Plasticity is being designed to be as interoperable ?? as possible with them. I think its important to be able to utilize the strengths of each package as appropriate. I go back and forth also between Rhino, Solidworks, Plasticity, Modo and Blender
Loft/sweep along a curve with different-sized circles
Hi, I can loft when the different-sized circles touch the curve (images 2 & 3). Can we also loft or sweep different-sized circles along a curve while the curve goes through the centre of the circles (image 1)?

It seems like you can loft as many circles as you want as long as they are just piercing the guide. If the guide goes into the profile it kills it. If a profile along the path is not touching the guide it doesn't seem to steer the loft. You might want to ask on the Discord if there is any more to it.
Error trying to follow the new message list
I am getting a lot of errors (page not found 404) when I click on the new message Bell at the upper right just to the left of the Avatar. I click to read someone's comment and it isn't there.
