I've been sitting with gratitude today... The kind that notices the little things. The text that came at the right time. The body that kept showing up. The moment you let yourself rest without guilt. I have included a Yoga Nidra practice for us. It's below if you need it. Sometimes we just need permission to take rest, and I am here to remind you... you can. Yoga Nidra for Gratitude I want to ask you something, and I really mean it: What's one thing that supported you this week? Maybe it was a person. Maybe it was your own resilience. Maybe it was finally sleeping through the night, or the way the light looked yesterday morning, or simply... being in the presence of loved ones. COMMENT below if you feel called to share. @VALA aka Valgerưur Eva ƞorvaldsdóttir Tea, then cereal and fruit, then coffee. Normally that is all spaced out but because I didn't get much sleep I needed the extra caffeine early. You are one crazy, wonderful lady Vala. Thanks for making me laugh.
The Parts We Try to Hide
There’s a subtle denial that comes with pretending we’re only light. The truth is... we are everything. the shadow, the tenderness, the noise, the stillness. When we rest in Yoga Nidra... nothing is asked to leave. The restless thoughts are witnessed. The heavy emotions are felt. Even the part that says, ā€œI don’t know how to rest,ā€ is held with love. You don’t have to fix yourself to belong here. You already belong, exactly as you are, in this breath, in this moment... & Beyond. ✨ Reflection What part of you have you been resisting lately? How can you soften the edges around it, just for today?
