Looking forward to it already.
Welcome Cat Jones 🪩
I am honoured to introduce Cat Jones to our Nova Nidra Community Team as our Liaison. She is here to support and encourage you on your Nova Nidra journey. You may have already heard from Cat Jones via the Nova Nidra Newsletter (or in the Peace in Rest Program); she has been a true light source in my life and has helped me create meaningful connections along the way. 🫶✨ Let's all give her a warm welcome as the Nova Nidra Community Liaison. 👏👏👏 🪩 A little bit about how Cat came into my life 🪩 Although we started as ships in the night, working at a fine dining restaurant downtown. We truly connected when we became flight attendants for the same Canadian airline. We spent those days reminding guests in our safety demonstration, "Put your mask on before helping anyone else," and created a safe, supportive, loving environment. We ensured each flight would be as comfortable as possible for all our guests. After I had been hospitalized with a rare form of Leukemia, Cat, without a blink of an eye, was there to support me. She knew the power food had on the soul and started a Meal Train. Cat would visit me regularly in the hospital, and once I was able to move into outpatient care, she came to my home and cooked delicious meals for me and sometimes my whole family. Today, Cat continues to feed my soul with her support, love for community and passion for creating connection. *If you hear from her in the community, know she is here to support you along the way.* Thank you for being here, @Cat Jones !

Hi Cat, I truly have enjoyed all the insights you have provided. You ( and Ayla), have been instrumental in helping continue on a healthy and healthy path and for that, I am extremely grateful.

Dear Community, I think that I am a very compassionate and well mannered person who has a Weltanschaung that sees the world from in a black and white perspective but sees a lot of grey. I live on a fixed income but I do make two (very small) charitable donations each month though I truly wish I could do more. The first is to Lurie Children's Hospital in Chicago because in the early 70s I contracted Guillain Barre Syndrome and they saved my life. The second is to my local PBS station. Not bragging here but I believe in the Hebrew word "Tikun Olam" or "repair the world". I believe all of us should do whatever we can to make the world a better place whenever we can and in whatever capacity. I an also a firm believer in the idea of "Utilitarianism". It helps my mental health and self-esteem whenever I can give back in any capacity. Thank you Ayla for positing this request. I am a private person but since you asked...lol. Peace. Bill
Gratitude
Dear Ayla and this wonderful Community, Thank you for all the joy, peace and serenity that is generated on a daily basis and not just during the holiday season where things come across as "forced" or "expected" as opposed to the genuine love and support that I receive here. For me "resentments" in all their various forms are very dangerous. If we expect people, institutions, etc. to behave in a certain way, it is a recipe for disaster and depression. To that point, expectations are resentments under construction. I can only speak for myself but I just wanted to share. Thank you for the privilege of your time. Kind regards, Bill
