Schedule your “ME” time
Good morning leaders, While walking the spoiled pooch that lives in my house, I reflected upon everything I had to do today. Appt, meetings, and social engagements. Then it hit me like a wall of bricks that I had not scheduled any “me“ time on the calendar. We are always so concerned about making time for everyone else and not taking time for us. If we are without nourishment, then we are unable to produce. If we are drained, we cannot pour into anyone else. Leaders, everything that’s usually important we place on the calendar. Challenge yourself to put at least one 30 minute block a week on your calendar whether it’s 3 - 10 minute blocks, 2-15 minute blocks or 1-30 minute block but do it for yourself. You give so much to everyone else that it’s OK to take that time for yourself so that you are a better view for you, your family, and your communities. Continue to make a positive impact in your communities! Kim

Greetings Protégés!
Welcome to the Axis Leadership Mentorship Community! I’m so glad you’re here — not just as a participant, but as a protégé on a journey of personal growth and leadership transformation. You’re stepping into a community designed to help you strengthen the one thing that determines every other outcome in your leadership — your foundation. Leadership doesn’t start with what you do. It starts with who you are. [Teaching Moment] Before you can build influence, strategy, or impact — you need to build stability. That stability comes from knowing yourself deeply, understanding your purpose, and developing habits that align with your core values. Your foundation is your inner world — your mindset, character, and personal discipline. It’s what holds you steady when pressure rises, when plans change, or when leadership feels lonely. If your foundation is strong, your leadership can stand through anything. If you are reading this, I ask that you post what you need most from a mentorship with Axis Leadership. [Community Connection] Remember — this is a community of growth. We don’t just learn from content; we learn from each other. Your insight might be exactly what another leader needs to hear today. When you share your thoughts, you’re helping to build a culture of authenticity and shared wisdom — a space where every voice adds value. So welcome, Protégés. Let’s get started!
Greetings Protégés!
