Schedule your “ME” time
Good morning leaders,
While walking the spoiled pooch that lives in my house, I reflected upon everything I had to do today. Appt, meetings, and social engagements. Then it hit me like a wall of bricks that I had not scheduled any “me“ time on the calendar. We are always so concerned about making time for everyone else and not taking time for us. If we are without nourishment, then we are unable to produce. If we are drained, we cannot pour into anyone else.
Leaders, everything that’s usually important we place on the calendar. Challenge yourself to put at least one 30 minute block a week on your calendar whether it’s 3 - 10 minute blocks, 2-15 minute blocks or 1-30 minute block but do it for yourself. You give so much to everyone else that it’s OK to take that time for yourself so that you are a better view for you, your family, and your communities.
Continue to make a positive impact in your communities!
