75 Hard - Day 8 & 9
Day 8 - knocked my outdoor workout early even when I had the day off from work. Knew I just wanted/needed to get it over with. Day 9 - tonight was the first time I had to fight through the urge to just not do my outdoor workout. Why tonight made no sense considering it was the warmest it’s been in a few days. Got it done though! Cross your fingers for me the air temp isn’t as cold as they’re predicting for Friday and Saturday. I’m talking they’re thinking we could break record low air temp. 🥶

75 Hard - Days 5, 6, 7
Day 5 - life tried to life on me after work but I still checked everything off the list. Day 6 - first weekend day. I got to sleep in!! It was great. I also got to walk outside in the daylight. That felt like such a treat after a week of early morning or after work walks. Day 7 - more sleeping in and another daylight walk! It was snowing during my walk but it actually wasn’t bad. I read this morning in Andy’s book that he wanted the conditions to suck. Because not only was he bettering himself, he was pulling away from his competition. Not that I’m competing with anyone but I get it. The other night when it was super cold I went home and walked the 45 minutes I needed. And now today it snowed but I did it anyway and I’m like hell yeah! I did it! More winter conditions in the forecast this week. 🥶

Challenge Accepted!
I was 8g short on protein yesterday and thought about chugging some clear right before bed. Ultimately I decided not to. After being on the education call and talking to Ashlynn about cramming in protein at the end of the day when I fall short - mainly so I can check the protein box - she said if I’m close and full, I don’t have to have more protein just to hit the number 🤯. Challenge accepted and I acknowledge that sometimes it’s better to listen to my body and what it needs vs. forcing a goal. It was hard not to check that damn box (which was also the kicker for not getting my overall checkmark for the day) but felt good to shift my mindset, listen to my body, and break my OCD box checking habit. And guess what?! I didn’t die 😂

I always give myself +/- 10g of my goal for protein. Otherwise if you’re saying you have to hit your goal on the dot it’s pretty easy to miss it. And it’s not really a miss!
Friday win!
Writing this as I’m on my Walking pad, and I wanted so bad to just stay in bed this morning. After the second snooze I got up to get my workout in before work. I haven’t done my strength the last 2 days because I’m switching my W/T for sat/Sun (I teach dance during the week so This just helps my energy levels when I have such late nights) and I knew to stay on track I had to do my workout this morning. Proud of myself for just getting up and doing it!

Way to readjust instead of doing something that really doesn’t serve you in the best way.
75 Hard - Day 4
I forgot to post last night but another day ✅ I am crushing my step goal these days. Definitely going to “win” my StepBet. I am so ready for the weekend. I cannot wait to sleep in. I’ve been getting up between 4 and 4:30 every day this week. Ya girl is tired! 😴
