Emotional Eating
Work has been stressful the last few days. Yesterday I had my lunch prepped and snacks so I did okay with nutrition until I came home and ate a pint of ice cream. Today I tossed some stuff in my lunch bag but it wasn’t anything I was super excited about. I ordered out with the team…and then had a bag of cookies from the vending machine. In hindsight I realize I was eating to make myself feel better about being stressed. It did t help me not feel stressed or do anything at all about the stress. All I have is regret. Maintenance is so hard. It’s not talked about a lot. And there are no milestones to celebrate it seems. It’s easy to lose focus on why I should be making healthy food choices. I plan to put some chicken in the oven tomorrow morning to bake while I walk. I will pack a lunch and snacks tomorrow and make better choices.

I would have to give up ice cream. Coffee is a daily thing!
Stretch It Out
I felt like I had Ashlynn in my living room with me when I put today’s Thrive30 on the tv! If I haven’t done days 2 and 3 thrive30 workouts yet, can I rearrange them to other days? Or do I just go back to those days in the app to follow along?

@Heather Murphy thank you!
Keeping Promises
I almost didn’t get my cardio in today. I decided to do my Thrive first thing in the AM knowing I didn’t have time for both. I finally got my bootay to the gym at 7PM tonight to get my run in (it was freezing outside). I hate night time workouts and honesty the treadmill in itself is torture to me, BUT I really am trying to set myself up to make 45 min a day NON-NEGOTIABLE even if it’s walking. And more importantly it feels good to keep those promises to myself. I’ve managed to check all my boxes these last 2 days EXCEPT for my water! Several ounces off each day, but I’m working up to it!

Way to get it done! I almost talked myself out of walking tonight but I’m doing it now.
WINSday!!!!
Tag a friend someone in our community who is inspiring you!! I’ll go first, @Melinda McNair thank you so much for all you do for our community!! for those that don’t know Melinda joined coaching in early March and is already down nearly 15 pounds! While this is amazing, what’s even cooler to see is we have helped her better her sleep quality, look at food and fat loss differently to create lifestyle changes that are serving her to the main character of her life! Let’s keep thriving!

My win has been getting back to walking on my lunch break at work. It’s less than 30 minutes but it helps set me up to have a better balanced evening at home. @Heather Murphy is a community member that inspires me. After some time off from physical activity to recover she’s right back at it! Getting started again can be tough to do but she did it! And it reminds me that I can do it too!
